Name one good thing about your day so far #2

The same, and just about only thing thats good about my days anymore; work. I love my job. I can actually be myself there..

I did it!! I crochet the hat -- accomplishment.. and to all the times that I said- I can't get this, I don't get this, I can't make a hat, it wont be a hat.. and now-- Hat
and of course I am strange, I find this hat symbolic-- especially with all that has been going on with me... keep trying!!

The people at work are amazing. Except that my manager can't give me more hours. >_< but she's sweet, she wishes she could. Haha. I love my job. I just don't wanna go home.

As the main Caregiver for my husbands parents...he is 82 and she is 79 with Alzheimer's, I am EXCITED that someone from the Alzheimer's organization is coming to visit me today and help me with this situation!!! YAY!!!!!!!

It is Thursday

My S/O cooked the corn on the cob last night while I was away-- i did totally forgot, and of course I was hungry when I got home, and corn on the cob is one of my favorite things--

I got some cleaning done.

i woke up, i dressed my self, and have made it to work.... i did not get pulled over while driving (that is always a plus), i had enough time to stop by the store to get some food (which is good cuz i rarely eat at work), it is very quiet at work- not much to do today.

I confirmed by checking three calendars that the dates were coincidental.

Boss said keep up the good work!

I finished my practicum yesterday and this morning they e-mailed me my reviews. They were really good and SO very relieved.

I got up and got ready in time and now I'm going to the aquarium for the manfriend's birthday!

I submitted my student loan application.

i cried at the thought-- it is a good thing, it means that I don't want to do it--- i need to re-asset some things I think in my head (i have been feeling just bad, wont go all into it)--

Good things so far today-- I looked at a picture that my S/O took of him in one of my newly made hats.. he said he was a french man, and this morning he put on the more beret one and we joked around about him being a revolutionary man, this of course after I flipped out a little and got extremely down --but it all made me smile ... I also made sure today to pull up a chair for my cat to sit by my side as I am here on the computer== guess what, he is here beside me lol... He's been fussy here lately with sitting on the lap and me typing or drawing on the computer, but he seems to like this idea of chair beside me..

coffee-- i know they say stop the coffee and cigs in these times, but the coffee made me feel better- the taste and the smell of it..

I got a lot of errands done today. Trying to keep the negative stuff down, with new challenges. Still waiting for a T appointment, but looks like it won't happen soon.

Rediscovered psychcentral after a couple of nasty ol' weeks. Feeling much better now. Mid-summer blues??? Well, yeah I guess. Good to leave that behind!

Beauflow reminded me of some important stuff.

A chair (or two) for the kitties. They really used to like sitting here while I was busy on the computer (which is happening more and more, these days). Gotta get back to doing that.

Coffee can be a very good thing. And I can make it as caffeinated or not, as I want to, by adding regular coffee to my decaf in different amounts, before I brew my cup. Coffee is comforting and delicious. Nobody will ever convince me that it is an evil.

My main thing today is that one good friend of my husband's continues to be an awesome guy; and gave husband a great head's up about a job he really wants to land. We need it; it's been a very rough year for us, with him just doing odd jobs here and there.

That phone call made my heart soar. Somebody REALLY DOES understand, and want to help, in the most practical way.

Will keep fingers crossed.
