I am very thankful that I have not caught the flu bug that is going around (YET).

I am thankful that the power came back on.

I am thankful for the new porch created over the brick foundation of the old one. I intend to memorize every knothole.

I'm thankful I made it home safely. Eye doctor appointment--dilation of pupils and everything, then driving home. It was a real struggle to see, even with dark glasses on and the visor down. They told me I should be OK to drive, but I feel like it was too dangerous. I had to be on ultra-high alert, and I consider the fact that I made it home without incident, a miracle. I just found out that hubby won't let them dilate his eyes when he's going to be driving. He's a professional driver, and I'm a noob, so if he doesn't feel safe, I really shouldn't either. Won't do that again.

I once, had my pupils dilated. I was close enough to home, for walking to and from, but on the way home, stopped at a candy store, thought I be a good mom and buy something for my kids. Boy, did I ever?! Quadruple the cost later, and too, afraid to speak up, since my pupils were HUGE!!

Won't be doing that again, well, the stopping anywhere, looking like...well...won't go there...

One thing I am thankful for today...watching my kids play. My oldest was doing somersaults. I cannot get over how high he can get off the ground.

I am thankful my anxiety is very low today/tonight. It's been awhile since that's been the case.

I have tonight off shift and after the bad couple of shifts just past, I need it.

I got scolded for trying to trick the filter and let me cuss, AND for complaining about the fact I couldnt use the word BUTT that starts with A.
Apparently its against the guidelines to complain about a guideline.
I didn't know cause I don't read that stuff.

I am thankful for my kids dance studio. It's a great place and they really care about the girls. I didn't have stuff like that growing up, so I am overjoyed that she does!

I am thankful for books.

despite all my depressories, I AM thankful that my shift is almost over and I am outta here for the weekend.

I am thankful it's Friday and I can finally sleep in tomorrow!
