I am thankful for love...love of family, love of community (PC), and world love when it shows in random acts of caring or bravery. It's still out there.

finding free sheet music on the internet so I can play something other than just hymn's for the prelude & postlude at church tomorrow.....thankful I can play the piano just enough to fill in when needed.

Thankful mostly that I live 2100 miles away from stbxh because the anger I felt being any closer is diminished by the distance even though I would like to find a way of getting my things across the miles......wish I could just do the genie blink or the nose twitch thing....oh well.....the peace makes up for all else in the big picture.

I'm thankful that there's less pain in the side of my neck. It's such a relief. I was in so much pain yesterday.

Naps.
I have no idea what happened to me earlier today but I suddenly felt as if I was dying or something.
I laid down and prayed that if it was the end I sure did want to be forgiven for all my sins and misgivings and wake up in heaven.
I woke up a couple hours later.
I have no idea what the heck happened but I am thankful for naps!

Ice.
A dog (off leash) knocked me down as I was leaving for work. Ice packs got me through the shift--and I was better by the end. Yea, ICE!!!

I am thankful that I got to spend time with my 24 y/o son who still lives at home. This evening I laid on his bed and watched him play video game (Metal Gear Peacewalker). I was all cozy with his blanket and he has a nice HD tv on his wall that he got last year as a gift from my sister. I treasure our time together and the things I learn from him. He was a defiant, difficult teen but he has matured and we now have a good relationship.

I called & got an appointment with my divorce lawyer this Friday......things will start to proceed now.....after loosing 2 of my eskie babies from last thanksgiving to March, I haven't been in an emotional state to deal with the stbxh & now I am finally starting to feel the ability again.

Starting to move forward in life rather than the status quo I've been needing.

Today I am thankful that:
I have work
I have 2 lovely children
I have a roof over my head
I have a wonderful T that cares about me and goes above and beyond to demonstrate that.
I don't have to worry about where the next meal is coming from
I live in a society that gives me free health care (the NHS)
I don't have to pay full price for my T
For my lovely cat
That I am able to drive and have a car
That my children are getting older
For emotions
For Music
For words
For my imagination
For Nature, and living so close to it
For PC.
