i posted a while back that i had not recieved a item, or 38 of them to be exact, network cards, today after 2 months i finally left bad feedback for the first time in my ebay lifespan after the dispute console was closed by ebay for non responce by the seller, they left the site after getting 6 bad feedbacks in a week for non delivery, anyway has i was posting the negative responce the seller has come back to the site and has said the post office returned the items so they will repost them today, mmm strokes hairy beard and ponders, what to do, what to do, i cant retract the statement and to be honest i wouldnt if i could, i know for a fact that the ebay item was never delivered to this address or that it was sent to the collection office which is a 5 min walk from my hovel, and to be honest i had given up on them, the parts and the seller both, so we will see if i do eventually get my parts or whether they are blowing smoke again

no i never got me money back, it was less than £15 total and to make a claim on ebay your purchase has to be over £15 before you can claim anything back, the thing is i bought all the networkcards i needed from another seller with no problems after this seller failed to deliver, so if i do manage to get them they are going straight back on ebay has i dont need them anymore

after reading your post i thought i would ask if if you read the daily mirror paper today were this family went to meet somebody to buy there car which was advertised on ebay ,
they were held at gun point and the mother was asked to hand over the money while they held the gun to her sons head, they handed over the money £5.000

no i dont read the newspapers, but with ebay nothing shocks me anymore, surely they have a contact address of the sellers on ebay, you need one, and a valid credit or debit card to register a account, or i had to anyway.
i have bought 2 cars of ebay and i got them to drive the car to me, that way if it didnt make it (the car) to my house i wouldnt pay for it. typical northern reasoning lol

the postman came today with my "network cards" to say they are not as discribed is an understatement, there are supposed to be 38 network cards, there are 30 modems, 4 sound cards, 1 tv card, 1card for a laptop and 2 network cards, in short a box of crap.

i am going to give the box to my friend to put to his carboot collection has they are not worth dibble to me

So far I have had 2 really bad experiences, one where ebay gave me some of my money back. I have also had 4 so-so experiences where item was mistake, not sent in timely fashion, etc. I posted a few weeks ago about an issue and to be honest the company sent the correct drive, broken, walked me through installing it(I had a friend do it with my direction as I have little use of right arm), found out it was faulty, and they fed-exed me a good drive which is lovely. So, it was all honest mistakes this time but my arm status made it hard.

Ebay's so iffy.
I am quite happy with their offspring, half.com, though. Check it out sometime, if you haven't. Selling's great through it, no charge unless you sell, postings stay up until they sell or you take it down, and a pretty simple item condition rating system - but limited items - books, movies, music, and videogames/systems.

It's AWESOME for textbooks, I'd recommend it to every student everywhere.

I have all positive feedback on my Ebay account, but I did give one negative feedback to someone who never delivered the item I purchased thru Paypal. They left ebay before I could post negative feedback!
