Just like in the Catcher in the rye “Where do the ducks go when the pond freezes over?” It is symbolic of Holden’s youthfulness but I wonder if the ducks move to the nearest place of moving water, go south before it freezes or where else might they be hinding?

Price of blowing your nose:

Yesterday we were debating use of Kleenex vs Toilet paper for blowing your nose. My 6 year old son would use approximately 3 feet'ish of toilet paper to blow his nose. I told him to use a Kleenex instead and was told "It costs more money to use the Kleenex." I disagree with that assertion given the amount of toilet paper he was using. I wonder though if we used the same amounts of both? I wonder what you all use? Are there any handkerchief users here?

They tried to teach me in school. In school I successfully burned a pizza, made custard explode, got apples stuck to a pan, got egg on the table and the shell in the bowl. Pretty much anything that could go wrong, went wrong.
