So, the other thread about the grocery store got me thinking about food. Yum. And as I'm at a loss for dinner tonight, I thought this might be a fun thread.

Post your favorite meals. . .and if you're really GENEROUS. . .the recepies as well!

My favorite meal has always been:

A nice medium rare and tender Roast Beef
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Fresh String Beans
My mom's Yorkshire Pudding

MMMMM...my mouth is just watering for all that right now and it's only 10:55AM What's for Dinner?

I made a roast last night for supper. Tonight I don't know what we are having as my cousin's wedding reception is tonight and I don't know what they are serving LOL.

black bean and cheese enchiladas

lightly sauteed corn tortillas....cover with black beans and shredded cheese.....pour over, to your taste, green chile enchilada sauce made by Hatch.....

nuke til cheese is melted. add one over easy fried egg on top and enjoy....

depending upon what kind of cheese you use, it isn't very fattening. (soy cheese works)

you could also add chopped onions and salsa or pico de gallo. i prefer homemade pico de gallo.....out of my garden........

I'm somewhat embarrased to admit this but here goes:

One pizza sub with cheese, onions, mushrooms, and accidentally a tiny bit of banana peppers. (For some reason they left off the peperoni...)

I also had Propet water with it, which is my one shred of intaking something nutritional.

For desert, I'm having lemon-lime sherbert with Sierra Mist poured over it to make punch.

I can see some cheetos in my future. What's for Dinner?

I have a sad life What's for Dinner? I am all thrilled to go tomorrow after church and get a bacon ranch salad (hopefully with croutons this time) from McDonalds!

Yum! (Course I also get some large fries with it and a Powerade, but...)

I'm lazy. I'm having KD that I made with chicken broth and added spices. (That was leftovers). Then I added a can of corn, some broccoli and made more pasta. So it's orangeish, except for the broccoli.

Pretty tasty though. What can I say, I'm a university student and very lazy...

Tonight (it's almost bed time for me), I made a chicken in a tomato, garlic and sweet basil sauce with roasted butternut, zucchini, green bean and onion medley served with fragrant basmati rice.

(I love to cook!)

my best friend and i almost always make veggie stir fry with tofu when i go to her house.
broccoli, bok choy, carrots, snap peas, and whatever else you want to put in, with some teriyaki sauce and stir fry it. then slice tofu and cook it with teriyaki in another pan, then mix them together and put it all on some rice. it's quite delicious. What's for Dinner?
