I've been trying to find Monsooned Malabar, too. No luck. I think I'm just going to have to order it online.

I think the problem for me, Museum, is that I'm finding it harder and harder to be able to live with what I see in myself, parts which I'm desperately trying to excise.

On the plus side, anxiety wasn't too bad this morning.

As an update (and I don't normally double-post but it's been a day, and today is my fifth anniversary of turning 33, so why not?), it's funny how I was going over the thread, and when I made it, I wasn't looking forward to 2018, and now, I have a gf and things are going well.

Anyone else ever look back at early posts and feel as though you have come a long way?
Thanks for this!

I'm glad things are going better for you. I don't go back to look at past posts, but maybe I should?

And can I get something to eat in this place? how about Steak Tartare Cheval (you don't want to know what this is)

Sometimes I go back and see what I've written, because I wonder if my sensitivity and actual helpfulness has increased/remained the same. I think looking at things with some time removed can show things in a clearer light!

I'm happy that things are going well for you now, Michael. Please always remember, it's day by day. Just one knotty problem at a time.

Hugggs, everyone.

Enjoy yourselves; It's Saturday Niiiiiiiiighttt!

I'm so sorry I didn't post, guys. I didn't mean to ignore you. Turns out, the dank of the cantina is where I belong, after all.

I've been better. Everything is in decline, though. It is what it is, I guess. So desperate for work that I took a sh*tty little job at Dollar Tree making minimum wage ($7.25/ht), all to please a girl who no longer wants me. Par for the course, it seems.

I am not. I had over 50 applications turned in, in less than a month. Three interviews, about a dozen turn-downs, and the rest just never got back to me.

The only place that will hire someone like me is Dollar Tree, apparently. There's nowhere lower to go short of being homeless. And I have to quit my job because I don't think I can be that close to my ex and not want to see her. The thought of someone else touching her is making me sick. I asked the PA to give me seroquel so I could sleepwalk through my days, only waking up to taken another pill. He gave me 25mg 2x daily. I don't think that's enough. I wanted 3-500 mg to start. I want to be comatose.

They have somewhat. My gf didn't want to break up with me, turns out, but she was trying to tell me she needed space and it wasn't coming out right. So we ended up working it out.

Besides, we need to revive this thread and get it in the hot list before they pave it over with a strip mall or a condo. lol
Thanks for this!

I'm glad things worked out with your girlfriend. Lol, but if they built a condo we could all hang out there.

WE love you, Michael. And no job (and what it pays) is an accurate measure of a human being's worth (although this society, and so many before, seemed to think it is.)

A single human life is immeasurably valuable! And you have a good brain! You keep trying.

Perhaps another city is the answer? Have you considered relocating?

Nah, I got a job back at my old place. But last night, my Saab's coils decided to all die. So I have to try to replace the coils and plugs tomorrow or sometime this week.

*jukebox begins playing*

Got on board a westbound seven forty seven
Didn't think before deciding what to do
Ooh, that talk of opportunities, TV breaks and movies
Rang true, sure rang true

Seems it never rains in southern California
Seems I've often heard that kind of talk before
It never rains in California, but girl don't they warn ya
It pours, man it pours...

Hey, turn that shizz off! Damn hippies. Get a job! And a haircut! And stay off my lawn! Have some respect! A Saab has fallen!

But anyways...I the coil pack costs about $80 and new NGK plugs another total of $15 or so. I'm going to try that first. If that don't work, then I have to replace the ECM/PCM and re-mate it to the car. Thank God I have a working Tech II.

Also, Skyrim. I have a working Skyrim Special Edition. With 200+ mods. Again. So, I'm going to fix my car next Skyrim and then we'll see if the Skyrim works or not. If not, I'll have to replace the Skyrim, like I was saying.

Anyhoo, I'm off to go slay something or other in Skyrim.
