Some of my mixed media:
The star is polymer clay painted and textured using plastic sheets with different patterns. The beads are all handpainted by me and I added different ribbons I have.

More mixed media:
The pendant and quarter moons are polymer clay, handpainted by me, using texture sheets before baking. Some of the beads are fiber optic beads and some are Czech fire polished beads.

Hi Laurie, thank you. I’d rather not due to anonymity issue. I’d like to be anonymous on this forum. I can PM though (not sure if art could be Sent in PM)

I saw the Mona Lisa (not actually its real name) at the Louvre in Paris. It is but a postage stamp in comparison to the size I was expecting. A very small painting. There were hundreds crammed into the room to see her. She was every bit as magnificent as I had hoped she would be. I had a terrible time in Paris actually but this experience really stands out.

I went to a Rembrandt museum in Amsterdam and that was memorable too.
Thanks for this!

So many paintings are much smaller IRL than I would have expected them to be. In many cases (Vincent, for example) the artist didn't have money for larger canvases. Sad.
I'm sorry to hear that you had a terrible time in Paris. Paris definitely takes getting used to. It's not like reading about the city in a book, or seeing it in a movie.

Now, a guess three or four months. I think I'd been painting about a month when I did that one. To be fair I do have an art degree in printmaking and drawing. I just love watercor though because it's so spontaneous and uncontrollable.

Roden’s museum in Paris. Unbelievable. It’s just his house. Small. Totally amazing.

Hermitage in Saint Petersburg. Impressive

I've drawn on and off for a long time. I'm taking an art class at my college right now, I'm not an art major but needed some credits in that area for my associates of science degree so I chose it as an elective, I really enjoy art and I figured it would be an interesting class. Also, I'd rather not take the other options such as drama.

I'm way out of practice and have tons to learn but it's fun and I hope to improve
