That the back of the bag of French fries only has cooking instructions for the full bag or half the bag. Not everyone wants to eat an entire bag or half a bag. Some only want to eat a serving or two. Mine always come out undercooked or overcooked.

I work at a large members only wholesaler.

What irks me is people who put me through the same bloody ordeal everytime, demanding to know why I am asking for their card everytime they enter. "I've been coming for years (angrily) and you should know me by now." I want to reply, "Then you bloody well know the rules).

Then there are the people who wait until they are at the enterance to get their membership card out. Invariably they have a collection of a mountain of cards to look through making the people lining up behind them furious. We get complained to. As if it is our fault the people are being unprepared unthinking idiots.

If I had a dollar for every person replying to my asking if they found everything "And then some" or "I came in for two items and am leaving with a cartful" and laughing as though it were a creative joke I have never heard before I would be very rich indeed. I hear this several thousand times a day.

There are those who complain about the volume of shoppers in the building - as if I can control that. As if we are supposed to ban people from coming in. I die to tell them, "Aren't you part of the problem then?"

SImilarly are the people who come in to shop on a Sunday and complain about the company forcing people to work on god's day. C'mon, really? What the hell are you doing then.

when people lend you cds/ dvds without checking them first

I finally got round to watching elf (leant to me by someone), and the dvd was scratched up big time.

I never got to watch the ending, and had to skip bits in the middle, but I got the rough idea of what the movie was about

I watch a programme called, "my strange addiction", it's all reruns now, and though it's a good show, it really irks me that it's only a half hour show.

reason being: I think it would be good to see them 1 year later or something and see how they got on

Just a point, sometimes *I* complain about things that I don't really expect to change or get a response to, it is just a way to talk about something. Like asking about the weather. Just putting it out there.

I hate bullies and people who just cannot let it go. I am on a condo board and we have a resident who is a bully. She used to be on the board. She won't get elected again but she continues to harass all the other members of the board... and I am SICK of it. She now wants to go to a meeting and that is allowed. I am happy to oppose her but one reason she does this is that she gets to the other people who will just fold under the harassment.

We do X... and about 3 weeks before we do X, she is sending e-mails harassing us to do it already. It is harassment pure and simple.

People who make fun of people and call them snowflakes just because they don’t like the song ‘baby it’s cold outside.”

when people want to be left alone, but other people (even though they've been told to stay away), continue to bother them

usually it results in a falling out or some drama which makes it worse

Here's another...

People who race to be the first in line on an airliner. Okay people, we are all going to the same place. Seats have already been determined. It's not like the plane is going to leave without you. Maybe those with window seats ought to form the line first followed by those with the middle. For goodness sake, if your seat is in the aisle, why on earth do you feel a need to be at the head of the line. Honesly. Just be patient.

I have this with the train. I don't understand why every day there is someone who gets off on the far end and literally will knock people down just to get to the station. 600 people are getting off the train in front of you... if you wanted to be first you should have moved to the closest car to the station... where are you going? There are 600 people getting off the train ?

Blurg.

People who complain that their grilled cheese sandwich is just cheese on toasted bread.

What else do you expect it to be?

Yeah, that's... pretty much the definition of a grilled cheese sandwich, isn't it?

I hate when one off programmes (ones without a series) end with the viewer still having so many questions

I mean it's not coming back on the air, what's the point

it's like a waste of a hours viewing- because it doesn't end properly

when people ask stupid questions related to their conversation

an example might be someone saying: oh I'm going swimming today, and I need my swimming costume on, isn't that right?. will that allow me to go swimming?. would it make me look good?

you're asking questions you know the answer to. don't waste people's time.

I think a lot of the time people do it just to try and cary on the conversation, but god it's so frustrating

the song, " the power of love", by fleetwood mac, is not a christmas song

I don't care what anyone says. it's not

it doesn't even mention the word christmas once

that still doesn't stop christmas compilations putting that song on their as a lead track

why

My coworker makes comments to me like “are you one of those white Girls...” Or “well, it’s not typical for white girls to....” I wish I could tell her to go shove it without making work difficult for myself. Her comments make no sense and can’t be factually backed up. I actually did question her one time about her rude remark and watching her get super uncomfortable and stutter her response when she knew well enough she was just being rude, totally made my day.

When I go to the local supermarket I pay with my debit card. I nicely tell the cashier woman I'm reading the prompts. She still then to proceed to tell me to put in my PIN. that really irks me. I don't tell her but I feel rather miffed.
Update I told the cashier woman I'm looking at the prompts and you don't need to tell me anything. It was a success!!!

when people on helplines or in stores talk to you like they are robots and are working off a particular script that they have to say to every caller/ customer
no room for any conversation or they'll be fired

and what's worse is that they won't move on until you've done what they asked before

People who cant communicate properly, them leave me feeling completely bored and uninterested. Small talk has never been my cuppa, if you dont have anything interesting or something with value and substance to say, stay away from me, it leaves me feeling empty.

And to the beautiful guy I see at work everyday, its probably not a good idea to call me sweetheart in front of your significant other even though I feel your energy nd k ow how attracted we are to one another. Thanks for the beautiful but very awkward compliment you gave me when I was out of uniform and dressed for a night out, I near fell to my knees when I saw you this way also although you look v sexy in work clothes.

Oh yeah this is a irk thread lmao. 🤣🤣🤣

A coworker (diffrent one then I’ve been mentioning) was picking stuff off my hoodie today while I was wearing it. Little pieces of dust and dirt and other stuff. She’s an older women and a mom. So I’m guessing she was just being a mom. It didn’t exactly irk me, it was more weird. I just don’t like being touched.

My pet peeve of all time is probably when I keep putting the same item away, again and again, and then the next time I see it, it's been left sitting out again. Am I the maid, or what?
