Oh, Ledgewood. I love Celine Dion's "Les Cloches du Hameau", especially this time of year.

I know certain peole will be triggered that's all.....maybe I'm out of line here....if I am I'm sorry, dont pull your song....

Sorry, Jinny :-( It's Nowhere's thread and he asked a specific question to which that was the answer and already thanked me as he found it helpful. There's no point of view in the thread, it's just about "music" and what it means to one, etc. I'd just skip over the "talk" and look at the songs if that's all that interests you.

well, i am sorry too, you all.. i wanted to have an open discussion about music... yes Jinny, i see your point, there is a lot of Christian stuff being quoted and stated on the boards now...

it wasnt intended to inflame.. only presented as an element, not to promote one belief over any others.. (like i am Christian!) .. but, can we not look at it religiously, and instead, think of it as part of an equation?

i also think its interesting that so much music, country, rock, rap, you name it, include the words "God" or "Lord" or "angels" or even in some, the words Bethlehem, Babylon, or "the Devil"...

but please, lets keep this from flaming ok? i think it could lead somewhere constructive still.. please??

music,
i read in a " science article " about the importance of music and the brain. I listen to
john williams and the music from "lord of the
rings".
keep the music going because it's a lot better than thinking all the time. I also have
nowhere to run- i am stuck in this head of mine.
such a feeling to know how much i can worry
and the fun i will miss- so yes, keep the music going.

I luv music....all kinds, but then I'm the frog of little brain.

I think what effects me the most is when an artist/group finds the right song. Everything just clicks and the artist takes over ownership.

I'm not sure I said that correctly. It is just the difference between just performing and passionately presenting.

You can feel the emotion of the song/music deep within.

Music is like a cureall for everything to me.
There is always songs that suit my mood

Blink 182- Dammit
Snow Patrol- Run
Avril- Take Me Away
Green Day- Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Westlife- What Makes A Man
Angels and Airwaves- A Little's Enough
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus- Cat and Mouse
Mayday Parade- The Last Something That Meant Anything

The list is endless! Music is something I think everyone can relate to in some way, shape or form.
