My belly is quite big as well. It looks like I'm pregnant.

I could probably use some steak. I'm pretty nauseated. I ate an entire tuppperwear container of cellery and then I started on a big tupperwear container of 3 medium cut up zucchni but now I probably just need protein. I had half a cookie and a muffin for breakfast. So I do seem to be more balanced then yesterday.
Basically right now my stomach feels like I overdid it with all the vegetables. My mom says it serves me right.

My new diet, adjusted for starting insulin a couple of weeks ago, appears to be working. After my weight went up a couple of lbs at first, it is now on the way back down again. Yay! I.e., lost the gain and another good half pound.
Im basically doing two regular meals plus a mini meal. Breakfast is coffee, a can of fish (tuna or salmon), and 1 or 2 toasted plain crumpets, depending on how hungry i am, which depends on the previous day. Main meal is rice or beans or lentils, probably veg, maybe a low carb tortilla (if no rice). Mini meal is fruit or veg, or a nutrisystem shake, or a can of chicken with hummus on a tortilla, again depending on how hungry i am. Im ready for my main meal for today. I did my exercycle for a good while this afternoon. I can already tell an improvement in my aerobic capacity. I mean i still get winded going to take out the garbage, but its a better winded, not an "im dying" winded! |

I think if I avoid nuts especially almonds I'll be ok. I was ok most of the day yesterday.

Fasting (blood glucose) in the 150's. Thats what having ONE, NORMAL serving of cookies does. Also tons of meds - 2k of metformin, 20 units of insulin. But i was able to be satisfied with that one serving of cookies. I had noticed the day before, when i had more than one serving, that the pleasure and taste diminished exponentially with every serving. I was a LITTLE hungry last night, but not so much that i couldnt sleep. I had a big chop suey dinner!
This morning, not that hungry. Rice and kimchee for breakfast. And coffee. This is the first time in my life that weight loss and health seem possible and not a frantic process. Last edited by unaluna; Jul 04, 2022 at 03:21 PM. |

I came home from a parade a bit overwhelemed but I'm not one to eat my feelings so I just heated up a bowl of broccoli. Then a couple minutes ago I felt like I was dying and I like I needed carbs so I ate the hot dogs out of a hot dog Lunchable. Now I feel like I can make it to dinner.
