Super Bowl Ads

I need ya'll to let me know what you thought of the advertisements and commercials during the Superbowl yesterday. It's for an assignment. Favorites, dislikes, things you noticed....anything would be useful.

I loved the two squirrel ads (for obvious reasons) and loved the Clydesdale ad for Budweiser.

I did not care to much for the ad of the man pushing the ball up the hill - it dragged out to long.

I loved the budwiser add with the man breathing fire...do you have cats? ACHOOO... and then the lady is sitting there all burned holding onto a burned cat!

I didn't like the Audi one with the motor oil,like the horse scene from the Godfather. It might have been better for a different product, it just didn't seem right....

i loved the squirrel bridgestone tire commercial. it was hilarious!

my huge pet peeve: they didn't have those commercials closed captioned for the hearing impaired! and i'm deaf! those twits.... eh...

I only saw one... with the over-made up female. It irked me.

I loved the Clydesdale "Rocky" training ad but could have done without the stock market talking baby who spit up ad; gross, not cute. However, it might have been marketed to a younger group who would have "gotten" and enjoyed it. The other same talking baby ad about renting the clown and it being creepy was good though.

I didn't see too many but I loved the Dalmation training the Clydesdale horse after it didn't get picked to be part of the Budweiser team.

And I loved the danding lizards (?) for the Viamin Water ad.

Yep, the budweiser clydesdale training ad was very cute as was the dancing colored lizards....also liked the cat and fire ad too.

I got to see them! I wasn't so very much into watching the superbowl, but I remembered people posting about the ads so I wanted to see it mostly to see those! Some of them were pretty cool, yup. Not sure that I have a favourite, though

My favorite was the Coke ad where Charlie Brown FINALLY won. After all his failed attempts throughout the years, it was satisfying to see him get the coke.

While creepy, I thought the E-trade one with the talking baby with the clown was hilarious and great because it took our fears and validated them.

I think that maybe I didn't actually get a lot of the ads because they make reference to past things that i don't know about (like about charlie brown finally winning). sigh.

In his cartoons, Charlie Brown always gets the football jerked away from him by Lucy before he can kick it; there's a Lucy-type real girl in the park, holding a football watching as he finally gets it.

The E-Trade ad with the baby, he made money so he rented a clown and lots of people have a fear of clowns. The baby "under-estimated the creepiness" (no experience yet, he can trade stocks because E-Trade makes it so easy but he under-estimated clowns, a child's birthday thing, Ronald McDonald, etc. :-)

hokay totally unrelated i know nothing bout superbowl. but everyone laff at me! i forgot my doorkey and had to climb in thru the bathroom window, i musta looked like a right burglar...

I saw many of the ads during the Superbowl, but can't remember many of them now except the two Etrade talking baby ads. I liked both of those the best, even the baby throwing up! The comment about clown in the other one made me laugh out loud!

My T shared the full story of the Clydesdale and the dog. Now I'll have to go to utube and watch!

Will Ferell was the best. The Taco Bell and sales leads cartoons were pretty dumb.
