I have to be out of my apartment for a week so I can't be there and make physical measurements with a tape measure or anything, but I have a picture on my phone.

I want to get blackout or at least light-darkening curtains but I want to get a fitting length. I've never had ceilings this tall before (they're crazy high).

(Here's a pic if anyone has a suggestion. The bed is a basic twin for reference. I don't want the curtains to go down in front of the heater for obvious reasons but I do want to be able to block out as much light as possible.)

Is there an app or program that can give you measurements based on a photo?

I dunno about that stuff but I'll tellya I love those windows! I'll agree blackout are going to needed though. Figure it out on your return maybe. You'll not fudge up that way. By the way...how high up are those fan cords? Some would need a box to stand on it looks like! Love the space aesthetic.

Nice space!

I agree with @mar dhea about waiting until you've returned so proper measurements can be taken.

Since you're concerned about curtains in relation to the heater...

Perhaps blackout blinds to replace the current blinds would be a more suitable option?!

Have fun decorating your place...

Thanks. I had an email from Wayfair after ordering something from them over Memorial Day weekend that they had a lot of sales so I got a rod that I know is going to be okay (it's adjustable) and a pair of blackout curtains 50% off that I liked (I honestly forget what size) and I figure if they're too long or short I'll just return them and go longer or shorter and if they fit I'll order another pair for the other window, maybe even in a different color too. Combined and with this cool dry erase board/calendar/cork board combo (my mom's recommendation so I can be organized haha) I got free shipping so that was nice.
