I agree with you StarPonysMama

It is probably more the person operating the phone than the phone itself. Some people do not ahve the challenge of losing focus when on the cell[phone while others just can't operate a phone and vehicle at the same time.

Im getting a new phone in a few days from my bro. Its his old phone but its got a touch screen and i can play games on it so that makes it cool. My old phone (razer) is litterally falling apart on me and is so badly damaged from getting wet that im not sure it would survive the last year of my contract if my bro wasnt giving me his old phone. lol

I like to talk on the phone while taking pictures of other cars as I scan through playlists on my ipod while driving.

Heh. Just kidding.

I have 3 that I carry with me all the time. Yes, 3 different numbers and all 3 different phones - same provider though. As to what I do with all of them, it's an obsession......lol. I just upgraded my Razor to the Razor2, v9m, and got my son the Krzor (sp)phone.

I need a support group....lol.

Whatever happened to the good old days when people had a land line for convenient calls and waited till they were in the safety and privacy of their homes to make the calls. Whatever happened to talk to you later: meaning maybe a few days later, not a few effin minutes.

Texting.....whoa, don't get me started...

Children having cell phones......seriously, don't get me going.

I guess I'm old fashion, like I said before, this constant mass communication will have negative results in some way. Adverts claim it connects people and is for safety..bla bla, but the reality is a 2 year contract and a ridiculously high bill for a piece of machinery smaller then my hand.....come on.

As for safety....get a track phone and put in the dash board of your car...I've considered that myself.

Somebody has been calling my cellphone late every night but the cellphone doesn't display the number or ID when the call is missed. I wish I knew who was calling me late at night.

I am thankful that we live in such a technologically advanced world that allows us to utilize cell phones. I do not abuse mine, nor do my children. My family plan allows for 700 minutes and we use about 100 each month. I still have a land line, also. Even though my daughters cell phone is turned OFF at school, it is nice to know she has it near her, just in case...

Yes, I lived through the good ole days. But, I'm happy to live through the new ones too!!!

I finally bought a Trac Phone. I needed it when we were selling my mom's house and there was no phone to call contractors. It turns out to be the best way to get info to my son. I text him and he calls when convenient. He doesn't even have a land line.

I wouldn't miss it if I didn't have it. I rarely even answer my home phone. I mostly let the machine answer. But people who need me know I'll answer the cell phone.
