BD, IBS can do that. So can Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns Disease. I urge you to go to the Dr now. Don't wait. I have a much greater risk of colon cancer than the normal population because of the UC. Don't take chances.

Also, this is for everyone. Don't let some self righteous Dr. tell you it's all "just nerves". That's how my UC went undiagnosed for many dangerous years.

Soluble Fiber Foods ~ the Basis of the IBS Diet

As a general rule, the grain and cereal foods at the top of this list make the safest, easiest, and most versatile soluble fiber foundations for your meals and snacks.[1]

Rice
Pasta and noodles
Oatmeal
Barley
Fresh white breads such as French or sourdough (NOT whole wheat or whole grain)*
Rice cereals
Flour tortillas
Soy
Quinoa
Corn meal
Potatoes
Carrots
Yams
Sweet potatoes
Turnips
Rutabagas
Parsnips
Beets
Squash and pumpkins
Mushrooms
Chestnuts
Avocados (though they do have some fat)
Bananas
Applesauce
Mangoes
Papayas (also digestive aids that relieve gas and indigestion)

the site, which also lists problem foods can be found at: http://www.helpforibs.com/diet/fiber1.asp

I can't do rice, or white stuff due to the arthritic value of it hehehe. Anything fried does me in quickly, as I have no fat lining my intestines (I don't eat fat) and nothing there to absorb bad or non foods. For those of you who can eat and enjoy donuts... eat one for me..and eat them while you can. Irritable Bowel Syndrome - (IBS)

Carole Sinclair has written a marvelous and eye opening book about IBS. If you google it, you can find the link and the list of acceptable foods. If I can't get to the book to give you the name of it because I can't reach it in this brace.
