Yesterday I got lost on my way from work so a 40 minute walk ended up over an hour. Don't ask me how that even happens I walk there all the time.

Today I walked to the clubhouse, which isn't all that far but for some reason I decided to put on rubber boots and the melting water outside had all frozen over again and I can tell you rubber boots on ice makes your muscles work!

I walked on the treadmill at the YMCA 4 miles @ 4.5 mph, 12% incline, 550 calories burned in 50 minutes. I skipped the weight-lifting machines today, to save time though. Kind of feel so-so about today's exercise.

5.35 am, so not yet! did pack all my own shopping yesterday which was real hard as the till is at shoulder height and my carer not only parked me side on but then disappeared to get something she forgot and didn't return till i was done, the tiller didn't help matters by scanning the stuff like an express train even when i asked her to slow down a bit! by the end my arm muscles were burning so much that it took me ten minutes just to transfer myself from wheelchair to car seat!

I went to church, and the band really rocked, and I danced along. Does that count?

No, but I signed up for adult swim lessons, since I need to swim a few times a week now to help heal my injury. I don't like groups, but it's a small one and I want to gain some propulsion so that swimming is not an unskilled chore for me.

Yesterday I swam almost an hour. Really exhausting. Pushed really harder than I ever have before. I feel great today.

Finally I came to my senses and swam for 30 minutes. Before that, last time I swam was in December 2012.

Not really exercise but did some heavy lifting cleaning house. Tried on my black and white checked pants and can zip them all the way up - that's an improvement!
Thanks for this!

That's exercise! I don't know where/when we got this idea that exercise was only going to a gym and going through a boring routine, etc. Have you read about the Hotel Maids Study?

Hotel Maids Challenge the Placebo Effect : NPR

This psychologist, Langer, her books are great, by the way.

Swam 600m, including one "sprint" (or what is it called in swimming?) of 25m in 50s. A little faster than last time. Does the credit go to the new sports style swimsuit or to me? Okay, I'll take it.
Thanks for this!

Crossfit 5 days a week and I started adding jogging. You can't ruminate, fantasize, or be depressed when you are attempting a technical lift like a snatch. You have to be in the moment and fully concentrated on your form.
Thanks for this!
