I'm only taking a third of my chemo dose now.
My hem/onc doesn't know. I see him tomorrow and I'm not sure if he'll be able to tell. (other than my counts might be wacky and my spleen enlarged) I don't care.  I'm tired of taking this poison!  I just don't care anymore.  I refuse to take this stuff for the rest of my life. I hate it. I'm tired of it. I'm tired of everything.

I'm so sorry you have to take the chemo.
I understand not wanting to take something, I did that once and got in real big trouble when the doctor discovered through tests, that I had been neglecting my medication.  (I didn't think he would be able to tell)Tunia-- you can get in trouble in more ways than one. Please, please take care of my dear friend. I'm here for you. Would it help if you thought of it as a magic solution-- or maybe fairy potion. I've seen the magic you do here with such wonderful picture posts! Please-- --- be safe Tunia. mandy |

I was on a med I didn't like and made a special/extra appointment with my health provider and she switched around my set up so it was more to my liking. Communication with your oncologist might help you more, give you more hope, than just rearranging things yourself? Two people working together is always more comforting and enjoyable than going it alone, I find.

Petunia, I'm so sorry that you are having to take chemo. Just before your post I was celebrating my last dose of radiation, very insensitive & thoughtless of me. I thought I was probably the only one who played "dr" with their meds but sometimes they just make me feel so bad that I don't care either. I have a new biopsy in less than 2 weeks and don't know whether they will be able to tell I'm messing with them or not. Since my counts are already not great it probably won't help my cause any but......
 Again I'm sorry and will keep you in my prayers.

Petunia...please be safe...we all care so much about you!! You are our sunshine!! Meds can be tedious...but if they make you feel better and be better...then why the heck not?
