Anyone taking nutritional suppliments for mental health? Omega-3 is supposed to be a good one. I've also heard about the product EMPowerplus and suppliments from Pro Biotiks. Anyone trying either of these or something else that works for them?

"Omega-3 is crucial to neuronal and brain development, function, and health, and is available from fish, grass-fed mammals, and certain plants. Lower levels of fish consumption and omega-3 have been linked to increased rates of depression and possibly suicide. Deficiencies in omega-3 can affect serotonin and dopamine transmission in the frontal cortex and hippocampus."

I currently take FrequenSea once a week.

I eat fish almost every night. I think it's important to get things naturally when you can, I have read that sometimes they are better absorbed that way.

B vits are good for girls, I think ...

My MD won't allow me to eat fish everyday as the phosphorus and mercury contents are too high to be safe. Omega 6 is probably equally as important. Good nutrition IMO is a a necessary ingredient for anyone's well-being, don't you think?

Unfortunately this is one of my weak spots. Eating is not one of my things. I get lazy or down or distracted. It overwhelms me when I try to think about how to make it better. TMI Living alone doesn't help - when you're only cooking for yourself ...

Be careful not to take too much Vit B12. I was taking a multi vitamin with 100% of the daily requirement and a B12 supplement. I ended up with my blood twice as thick as it should have been. It was not fun.

Stress has taken a toll on my immune system.

I take b'complex, c, calcium, multi, and recently my naturopath has said I can take 5-htp and l-tyrosine for improved mood.
