This is a true story. It really happened to me.

I was at my Ob/Gyn's office for a procedure. I was lying on the table (you can imagine the position) when my doctor entered the room. He pulled up the stool to position himself for the procedure. When he sat down a wheel fell off the stool and he tipped over.

His comment was, 'It looks like this one has been used a few times!' my doctor's stool

Good thing his patient had a good sense of humor.

my doctor's stool thanks! i needed that laugh! so funny.... i also thought at first that you were referring to your doc's poo....

i was at my primary care doc 2 years ago, for a pap and a physical. my doc came in and the nurse squirted some ky jelly onto his gloved finger. somehow, he lost it the jelly and was fumbling with the glob of jelly in the air. he finally got it settled on his finger again. i was cracking up. it was hilarious to see a doc doing a football fumble with ky jelly. i'll never forget it for as long as i live! my doctor's stool

It looks like my story has gotten a few laughs! That's great, there are way too many serious stories here. Perhaps I should have chosen another subject line. Ah well, it probably adds to the laughs. my doctor's stool

Yes, Okie, the procedure went great. It was an elective procedure.. permanent sterilization. It's a procedure fairly new to the US. Just approved in 2002. No incisions and no anesthetic! For anyone interested, visit Essure.

Hi Ativan,
I learned something from you! I had not heard of Essure and I have a young friend at work who wants this and can't find anyone to help her.

Glad it went well for you.

And, yes indeedy, thanks for the laughs!
