My relapse was pretty severe (lasted about a year, binge/purging about 10-20x a week at its worst and 4-5 at its best). I've been doing really well the past two weeks though.

I can't remember the last time I took a proper bowel movement. I am bloated to high hell. I've been so gassy I'm afraid to go to the library. I remember going through this during my last relapse/recovery so I know it's related, but I don't remember how long it lasted.

Any clue how long this will last (hopefully I didn't do any permanent damage?)? Any ideas on how to make it better in the meantime or speed up the recovery process?

I do not have experience with that, but I have had lapses in BMs due to being on weight loss drugs. Prior to them, I had been regular like a clock, but on them, I would have a couple of days without and then occasional diarrhea, too. Never really constipated or gassy or backed up, but just not ideally regular unlike before.

My internist recommended BeneFiber. https://www.amazon.com/benefiber/s?k=benefiber

You can subscribe and save on Amazon.

It is a prebiotic supplement.

It is amazing. And the thing is, I already had a very good diet with lots of prebiotics from foods and drinks, but I still saw an improvement.

I highly recommend it. It dissolves in liquid or soft foods without any taste at all.
