Because I doubt I'll be able to eat afterwards. Not sure on all this. But the idea of a tube freaks me out.

For what?

If you worry about eating, they don’t feed no one through the nose. You’ll eat when you are able to. Likely liquid food, then soft food etc

You understandably worry about this surgery but talk to your doctor. Don’t assume things
