Explaining this to the best of my ability Couple problems

One of my eyes is having problems. It looks pretty normal but my vision in that eye is really blurry, and I think it was a one off thing, but I woke up and it felt like it was burning. It's not been too long like this, but it's not just the eyes.

On the same side of my head, I feel "lopsided", like that side is heavier then the other (hard to explain) especially around the ear. it's really weird. I've been under bed rest but the "lopsided" feeling gets really noticeable then I sit up.

I figure it'll maybe just pass up soon because it hasn't been like this long but I'm a little nervous for it. Couple problems Does this sound familiar to anyone?

could be about anything
just call your doc and let him/her tell you if it needs further examination
you don't want to be late to tell them in case its something serious

I'm not really so worried about the lopsided thing, I figure the feeling could be all in my head.

More worried about the eye Couple problems I looked in the mirror after having typed this and had Kate check it out and it's redder then I thought it was.

Eye was looking gross this morning and hurts, so I think I will visit the doctor. I'm trying to think if I could have gotten anything in it, but the eyelid was stuck down this morning because discharge comes out of the eye Couple problems

Thanks for the help.

It got kinda itchy and I must have scratched my eyelid or something because there's a little blood Couple problems I'm assuming it's from my eyelid because I don't think that an eye can bleed.

Spent some time googling eye infections myself and it could be pink eye but I thought that normally infected both eyes. I don't really like going to the doctor and I prefer to wait out infections but my vision in that eye is bad and it hurts.

sweety don't mess around with an eye infection. go to a dr, preferably an opthamologist. i have worked in day care centers and seen horrendous pink eye, but never with any bleeding.

I have to echo the others--go to a healthcare provider.

Like everyone else said, you should go to a doctor
I know you hate the doctors/hospital but if it doesn't get properly treateted you could become blind in that eye.

I've dealt with pink eye before, it's pretty icky and nasty, were it itches and oozes out stuff and the white parts of your eye turn pink. The good news is though that it will NOT infect both eyes as long as you do not take the hand you touched your eye with, and then touch your other eye with it.

Got dragged to hospital for other reasons last night so I got my eye checked out while I was there. They said it looks like a serious infection and that I have a foreign object in my eye (they said rust residue or something so I'm really confused) and that my cornea could be badly scarred.

I left pretty fast and didn't accept any medication/eye-drops (for mental health reasons I don't take medication easily) but they said I really need to come back because the infection looks pretty bad. I'm really worried and I was pretty out of it last night so I should maybe go back to hospital and actually listen to them explain, because I'm scared this awful vision in this eye isn't temporary Couple problems Not to mention really confused because I was paying any attention.

I'm sure it's not as serious as could cause blindness, but I have otherwise perfect vision, I don't want to lose any vision in any eye.

Now I'm getting scared, I should have paid attention Couple problems I hate hospitals/doctors/taking any medication/accepting medical help (for reasons I shouldn't go into on this section of the forums) and I'd really want to wait this out myself but I'm confused and worried Couple problems

yeah you dont want to lose any vision... Therefore you must go to a doctor/hospital
They didnt say it was serious and you should come back at the hospital without a reason..
It's worth the anxiety to let them check this out and treat it properly

if you have a foreign object in your eye it needs to be removed or it will continue to irritate and infect. and infection of the eye CAN cause blindness. hubby is blind in one eye and it sucks. he has very poor (non existent) depth perception, and has been known to step on/bump into people while walking etc. not to mention the fear that comes of knowing if something happens to the other eye then he will be totlly blind. PLEASE go back and let them check it out and listen to what they say. eye drops are not so bad, and if there is still rust residue(could have come from anything rusty) then it won't go away on it's own. take care sweety.

TY for the help everyone but I'm just going to wait it out at home for a little longer at least.

Is it safe to try and clean the eye out? It really hurts and the vision is getting very bad and I'm not sure how/if I should try and clean the eye out. There's still blood and discharge.

dont wait it out
each day, each hour you wait longer the risk and severity of permanent damage will be bigger
the hospital didnt say for no reason that it was a bad infection and needed medical attention
fight the anxiety have kate take you to the hospital
now!
