Hey guys! I know that many of us are not on tumblr (and that's fine really, I myself wish i wasn't there, sometimes it can get quite heated) so I decided to make a thread with all the resources I could think of!

A masterpost with useful resources (like shopping, "passing", etc) by germball
A masterpost more focused on Transitioning, by Neutrois
More resources on NB/genderqueer individuals
A resource for dmab trans/non-binary who are looking for a bra
Sadly I couldn't find many trans women/dmab non-binary resources, but i'll search for some more!
I'm doing my research and I will try to update this with more masterposts full with useful resources! in the mean time, you guys can also put your resources / useful links / useful advice here, because i feel like this community really is needing some support (we are all needing it tbh)

*virtual hug to all my trans/nb friends*

Thanks for this!

Great idea I'll think some more and sift through the resources that I use frequently, but seeing as it is summer in my part of the world, here's a post on masculine swimwear from dapperQ:
Ask dapperQ: Masculine Swimwear Part II

About dapperQ:
"dapperQ is a visibility project that celebrates the inner and outer beauty of masculine-presenting lesbians, gender-nonconformists and genderqueers, and transmasculine individuals of all colors, shapes, and sizes. dapperQ does have a fashion focus. But, more importantly, it serves as a vehicle to explore fashion as a social construct, providing our readers and writers with a safe space to document and discuss how gender role expectations, particularly with respect to gender identity and expression, shape who we are as individuals and as a community" (About)

The fashion presented tends to be expensive (they make a point of promoting small, trans-owned businesses, for example), but there are also tips on more affordable options. And generally, for me it is a place to get some inspiration/new ideas fashion-wise.

Here's another FtM resource that I quite like: The FTM's Complete Illustrated Guide to Looking Like a (Hot) Dude
It also includes a guide on exercises for shaping your body to look more masculine here: http://ftmguide.rassaku.net/fitness2.htm

I just came across this three part q&a (Answers about transgender issues) from the New York times: http://nyti.ms/1nREAmi

It's from 2010, so not super recent, but it seems a good place to start to learn more about trans* things, especially for cis people, and it links to a lot of resources. There are links to part two and three on the page.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
