Been having a lot of trouble will trich lately. Pulling every day, hadn't had it be this bad since high school and I'm in my mid 30s now. Back then, I just chopped off my hair, but I really really want to keep it long and not cut it off again. I don't know what else I can do though. I'm going to be getting a haircut soon as it is and I'm nervous because the spot is noticeable if my hair is pulled back. When it's down, not so much. It's at the front, a long the hairline. Hmph... any skills or tools to not pull that y'all use would be nice.

Can you keep your hands busy doing something else?

I try but when I start feeling awful or my mood crashes my hand just goes right up there. Especially if there aren't other self harm methods available at the time.

my hair is really long.
so if I do (not that I really do anyway), my hands would get stuck in the hair and then I'd get anxious trying to pull them free |
