1. Being asked the same questions over and over again by every doctor you see when you visit the ER for re-hydration. (You would think they could keep a list of the medications I said when I was first checked in and give it to the next person, it's not like they have changed while I've been waiting.)

2. Being told that you can leave the ER but then not being pointed towards the door (very big ER, very brain fuzzy).

3. Having the ER doctor treat you like it was ridiculous that you came in when it was your PCP who sent you directly from their office but you look a little better three hours and a bag of saline later. It would not have been my first choice of where to spend the afternoon.

4. Having my bosses (yes, that's plural) expect me to do work when I am at home sick.

5. Coming home to live in an environment that is completely unsupportive of my needs.

6. Having a 102'F fever for three days.

7. Feeling all alone.

8. Having no one to pick you up at the ER when you're discharged.

9. Not having any new books to read while sick.

10. Having occupational health call and wake you up when you are sick to tell you you can't come back to work until at least Tuesday.

So this post caught me in a really bad mood. Ok, going to try not to rant any more.
Thanks for this!

Having to be everyone's support system and not getting any support.
Not being good enough
Getting so depressed that all you want to do is sleep and then feeling guilty when you sleep until 10:00 on your day off
When you do get up...feeling overwhelmed with everything you have to do and ending up doing pretty much nothing.
Not being able to just run away

  • being falsely accused of facile, banal things beneath your dignity which insult your integrity and intelligence to be accused of
  • having that happen when it has taken you six months to get up enough courage to open up that deep and be that vulnerable to ANYONE so as to tell them ANYTHING at all let alone be as authentic as you can about it (being real about yourself & your feelings)
  • having it be your healer who does that do you....

1. Assumptions made about you/your life when the person doesn't even know you.
2. Being called an attention seeker/ self pitying when you feel guilty/bad talking about you/your life and are in an awful place and need support, not being attacked.
3. People who yell. *shakes in fear*
4. People who stick their nose into your conversation with someone else
5. My so called family.
6. My health
7. My mind.
8. People who act like they know you and have the nerve to do so when they don't even know your full name/first name.
9. Reality.
10. HOW HOT IT IS RIGHT NOW! *blows the fan in my face*
11. ONE FOR LUCK > People who don't listen.
12. And another > Not understanding what people are saying to you & not knowing how to communicate/explain things.

1 people you hire to do work for you that tell you how well they are going to take care of you & then never show up or do the work or finish the job they started.

2 people who lie to you or only 1/2 tell you something leaving you to assume the rest....usually you try to assume the best while they know that isn't what they are going to do.

3 sawing up all the tree branches that fell in the ice storm last January before you can mow the lawn. Need to get better with the chain saw but a bit intimidated by it.

4 a weed eater that won't start so you can finish making your yard look good in the places where the lawn tractor won't go. Pulling the starter 100's of times & getting blisters trying to start it.

5 feeling lazy but knowing that all 6 of your doggies are desperate for their potty walks.

6 thunderstorms in the middle of the night.....smothered by 3 white dog fur bodies trying to get away from the thunder & knowing that mommy will protect them.

7 ants in my kitchen.....if I don't get every dish washed immediately, the ants find their a new path into my kitchen every time.....end up with a countertop covered in ants......yikes.

8 centepeides & crawling bugs & huge red wasps in my house....they belong outside & no where close to my house.

sure I can go on from here.....but enough is enough for one time...lol.

  • People who make vacuous replies to multiple threads as a ruse to try to bury someone else's.
  • People who not only do that or other crap like it but actually believe you won't see right through them.
  • People who become offended that you've seen through them and have to go on a massive social engineering / smear campaign against you to "punish" you for daring to see the truth and speak it.

Oh lets just face it: humans SUCK.

(((Silver))) - Is your phone hooked-up to a machine? If it is you can switch the ringer off on your phone. People (friends/family) will leave a message - most of the time telemarketers and collection agencies won't. Even if they are bold enough to leave a message, it won't wake you up like a ringing phone will. (That's what I do.)

More major suckage......
1) Living in a trailer park even though you have agoraphobia.
2) Not being able to move from the trailer park.
3) Feeling your trailer sway in severe t-storms.
4) Having to pay a mortgage on a trailer that you hate all by yourself because your stupid husband ran away.
5) Trailer parks in general just blow!!!

The quiet scares me 'cause it screams the truth.
Please don't tell me that we had that conversation,
'Cause I won't remember, save your breath 'cause what's the use?

Aahh, the night is calling, and it whispers to me softly,
"Come and play". Aahh, I am falling, and if I let myself go
I'm the only one to blame.

I'm safe, up high, nothing can touch me, but why do I feel
this party's over?
No pain, inside, you're like perfection, but how do I feel
this good sober?"
