Bickering, snipping, snide remarks, etc...

So a vampire bat returns to a cave covered in blood. The other bats hound him until he agrees to bring them to the food, and they all fly off.

After leading the pack for a mile, the first bat suddenly slows down and says, “See that oak tree over there?”

“Yes, yes!” scream the bats.

“That’s interesting,” says the first one. “Because I didn’t.”

A young polar bear walks up to his dad one day and asks, “Dad, am I a pure polar bear—you know, not part black bear, brown bear, or grizzly bear?”

“Why no, son. You come from a long line of proud and strong polar bears. Why do you ask?”

“Because I’m f!@#$%in’ freezing!”

Knock knock.
Who's there?
Staten Island
Staten Island who?
Staten island I see out there in the water?

Matthews.
Matthews who?
Matthews are wet. Can I come in and dwy my thocks?

Waiter: Did you enjoy your bison steaks?
Dining family, in unison: Yes, we enjoyed them very much.

Like the bickering, I hope THIS TOO shall pass & not become the solution for things not liked. I find it all very inappropriate & unacceptable

i found the jokes to be like a breath of fresh air, sweeping in behind the snide remarks, the sly remarks and the bickering.......thanks, ladies..

Sorry, the intent (on my part) wasn't to cause tempers to flare more. We were just in a silly mood and one joke led to another.

It is highly possible for people of intelligent minds and otherwise good intentions to proliferate a thread of interest to some and not to others.

This thread was stolen. We just had a good run of information from the webmaster about how that is so not right.

If a member is bored with a thread, or otherwise wishes to dispense with it, the probable best thing to do is quit reading it!
Please don't hijack it, for it then appears that you think your post is more important than any of the others. If it truly is, begin a new thread so we can then join in there, too.

If there are still others, like myself, who enjoy deep thinking rather than shallow, of a thought... and the subsequent thoughts that can arise from mulling something over, then let us have the thread to continue.

The fun stuff is great for the FUN FORUM. (Yes, I enjoyed the "is the bar tender here..) one.

Isn't it interesting when the original thread was about snerts (in general) and everyone thought we had the topic well covered and we all had learned from it... I'm still trying to learn here.

i love laughing. and i especially like the kind where you can't quit and people are staring and you're snorting and juices are running from your eyes and nose and it just gets funnier, because whomever your laughing partner is, they are now doubled up on the floor, kicking and flailing and giggling and completely out of control and finally, you stop and as soon as you have eye contact, it starts again! wooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo that's my story and i'm stickin' to it~~

Obviously this thread needs to be locked, since it has been hijacked so many times, reflecting the very issue I believe for which it began.

Yes there has been wayyyyyyy to much bickering and the humor is helping to release unhappyness due to the nastiness, the high-jacking was a release not a problem IMO, we need to lighten up

I think the point of the jokes was very much related to the topic. Ryan said, stop the bickering. So they did. I don't think it was hijaking. I think the jokes lightened the mood and stopped the bickering, if only breifly. I think they made Ryan's point quite well. And the fact that jokes started more bickering, wow.
