LOOKING FOR WELL/FUNCTIONING CHATROOMS.

Yes, I have just gotten off of HealthPlace.com chatrooms,and site,which are so badly maintained,we are constantly thrown off,and "timed out"off the chatrooms,and the whole site. They are a mess. Please, can someone tell me, how come I cannot get on this social chat,and the java aplet does not work?I have Mozilla Firefox browser,but I know I have Java;I use it all the time. So,what could be wrong? I realy want to get on your social and therapy chats, and would really like to get chatting here; if no one goes to the chatrooms here, WHERE DO YOU GO FOR GOOD CHATROOMS? ANYONE KNOW? i NEED some nice chatrooms, with some nice people (do not say Yahoo) that I don't have to pay for. HealthyPlace is so bad, we cannot stay on the site,at all, they are doomed; we are all looking for other nic e chatrooms to go to; no kidding. HP is all over with!!!(I just told some of the mental health links sites to not put HP in their database,anymore, as "functioning", cause basically, HP is not functioning at all, most of the time.) Please, anyone know of nice free chatrooms that I can get into? Nice folks? Even regional ones, I am not picky. --ones that actually function. Just click on caht at the top of the screen and it will log you on there. then you go to rooms and you pick the room you want then you click change rooms.

Welcome to psychcentral dorothy. Could it be that part of your problem with other chatrooms is your computer/browser settings? I ask because of your problem with entering our chat area here. Just a thought.
Check your settings is all I can think of to help. You did say you downloaded the updated Java, right? I also use firefox.
Our chatrooms function quite well. A few members do have periodic problems with being booted out... We do hold ourselves to support when members need it ... we police ourselves generally but do have moderators too. It's unlike any other chat I've been in.

welcome! did you click to download the latest java. there is an option as you're about to enter chat here. i couldn't get int until i did that.
