i can't believe this. my oldest just called and Josh leaves Saturday. unless, of course, the army changes it's mind and he leaves Friday. i'll drive back up here because he can't go without me being here.
i am so afraid for him and i am afraid for what he might have to do and he is so opposed to hurting other people. i'm sorry that i have two threads going, but i need support. lots of it. please pray for josh, colleen and stella. xoxo pat |

I KNEW IT........colleen just called, in tears, because the army changed their mind. i'll leave for austin and come back on wednesday. his parents come in on wednesday. tomorrow is their wedding anniversary. josh and colleen's....their 3rd.

(((hugs)))) yes, of course we'll pray for his safety during his tour of duty. My son has been there and back ... let's just say more than once, ok? My nephew has also been there twice, and returned. Yes, it's a war, and some soldiers give their lives... but most don't and are returned to us safely!
