If you think you're having "problems" with this "site"...

go join another one, also, and see how much support and understanding you receive THERE! <font color="green">[b] IT ain't out there, folks. I am deeply disappointed in the internet, and what ISN"T available in general... caring ppl. While this site does receive a few members who don't fit "the profile" of the site, in general, the tone of this site is very safe, and supportive.

I have just drawn back a nub from another site. Supposedly being understanding and caring, with ability to rise about the chaos about us,, well, I won't even repeat what they said to me.. and not just one person there, but several... misquoting me, attributing what someone else said as my words, attributing what I said to one person as a retort to another, and not caring that THEY had it mixed up, even when reading back to see what was really said! No, they were too interested in condemning ME>

Now, I realize that there are a few of you reading this that are L Y "-" O over this(which I find offensive yet you still use it), as you are generally NOT supportive, but skim by with the skin on your teeth. That's ok. You would be eaten alive by the general populus out there, which is why you are still here: you have no other place to go either. My post is not for you... as you are the minority here.

THAT is what I am posting about: the ppl who turn on you, and backbite ARE the minority here! This is a great site, folks. I sure wish those who think otherwise would just shut up. Don't interfere with good threads where a good discussion is going on, even though all might not agree. THIS IS A SAFE SITE... and WILL REMAIN that way, because there are members like me ... many others... who will kick and scream about those who keep trying to dismantle the sanctity of PC!

It's a tough world out there... and to be able to come here and generally feel safe and supported, and allowed to relax about all the garbage going on OUT THERE is so needed by all of us here. I pity those who aren't here and are thinking that drawing back a nub and insulting ppl and laughing at ppl is the normal way to live. We got it good here, folks. Believe me.

Yikes, you obviously had a strong reaction from that other site. I'm sorry that happened.

Sky, I am confused. I think I am angry. A good thread to some might not be so for others. In general I agree this is a good safe site but I am confused. When I see people getting violent in their words it is not helpful to me, in my mind anyone else. Perhaps you could clarify?

I read your post...and I feel very sad. To laugh at someone's expense...IS inexcusable. I cannot acct. for what is happening in our country. I really just can't.

Amoung other thinds I have AADD. I cannot tell you the times..I have been laughed at. Laughed at because I am slower than some folks. I may not be fast or that eduacated..but I do care about hurting other people.

I visit one site which is so cold and clinical. I post for information only. Support-nada!!

yeah well, if I did that then it would perpectuate the harshness.. and I wouldn't want to see that continue HERE... but just go to other sites, that have forums and chatrooms... see how meanly they treat the other members... but no, I wouldn't want you to experience that.. hehehe TC

no. It is supposedly a support site... but I have been to 2 actually, recently, and received the same sort of treatment... and I wasn't pushing any of my ideas, I wasn't sharing any of my information (except I did say in one response that I was dealing with a lot of pain so maybe I missed something... ) you know? I know "3s a charm" but I'm not superstitious and not really eager to venture out again (but I might.. trying to prove their is good in the world???)

Sky there really are some other good sites out there....they all can get rough now and then but all have good people too
