DIfferent site problems

Ok. well, it's good to be back into chat but I am having a different problem now... and one that is ongoing...

the ongoing, since the chat problem is that I am not automatically returned to the forum after posting... I have to select to go back.

NOW Some of the posts are showing up on my "favorites" list on my main ISP page... without my doing so... not all of them and it's intermittent.

Any ideas of these things?

Hi Sky,

Just a random thought, have you checked your profile to see if somehow your settings might have gotten changed? Also, it's never a bad idea to periodically go in and do a "cookie dump", as you can pickup some pretty strange stuff in there. I do that about every three months just as a precaution.

Hope you're doing OK, and enjoying the weekend wherever you may be. The weather here in Cal has been beautiful!

tks bp well I have been to profile many times, changing things to try. Also, I have automatic cookie "dump" in my computer settings.. since my brain doesn't remember when to do this...

Greg, I still can't get into chat. It's that Java Virtual Machine thing.......can't dl it and it won't let me do much without it.

Greg! Don't be telling me that the weather is beautiful in CA---now, tell me that the weather is * crappy *. It's still cold here in IL and I don't like it one bit! It's cold and windy, and we might get snow tonight. To top that, the zipper on my coat broke so now I'll feel the cold and wind even more. Please, make up a story how bad the weather in CA is. Maybe it will make me feel better.

I'm still working on being able to get in to chat here. I've tried to download a few updates (still more to go). The one problem that I have is that I am using an old computer. I can't even download all the updates because some say that I need more RAM that what I have. I think I've got that right? Hard to all of that straight. It was something like that.
