Prayers and Good Positive Hopes Needed

Dear Friends,

Recently I've been having a difficult time. Health problems, (pnuemonia among them), definately were huge factors.

It was more though. I live in a bad place. It's very dangerous here. I have been stalked, and mugged, and recently I was bothered in the parking lot again. It just broke something in me.

My depression and anxiety has steadily worsened since that day. Last night someone yelled at me out his apt window because I apparently parked in the spot where his dealer parks when he makes deliveries! (I kid you not.)

Today I went up the river and looked at a beautiful apartment. It felt just like a home when I walked in. It's quiet and I can see trees and grass out the bedroom windows. The rooms are the size in a real house, not miniscule like here. There is storage and heating and air even in the bedroom and bathroom. There is real carpet and windows to let in plenty of sunshine.

It's near my old church, so I could go back and get into my old activities and maybe some new ones. There is a community center nearby and I can go exercise and take classes for free.

The apt complex is quiet. The man who runs it is from the country, too, and we understood each other immediately. He doesn't put up with nonsense and he can see why I wouldn't survive in the city. If my paperwork will just go through, it will work. Please, won't you pray and/or send your good thoughts for me to get that apartment?

I live a pretty bad neighborhood, too. I'm saving up my money so I can get the heck out of here. It's really depressing here although I've never been mugged.
Just the apathy and "attitude" is enough to drive me into hiding in my house all day.
Can I live vicariously through you, when you do get the apartment? Please?

I know from personal experience how much this kind of thing can weigh on your mind, as I made a similar move this year from a dangerous neighborhood. It has made such a difference! I've never met anyone in my entire life that deserves this more than you do. And knowing you as I do drives that fact home even more so. I know from personal experience with my own move that you need this as much as I did. I'm praying with every ounce of might that my little heart and soul has to offer that you will get this place and I'll continue to do so until you have the keys to that apartment in your hand and your freakin furniture has been moved. If there's ANYTHING I can do to help, don't hesitate to ask. I mean that. It brings tears to my eyes to think of what you've been through in the last year.

Thank you, thank you one and all, old friends and new ones, for your good thoughts, wishes and prayers. You made me cry and made my heart warm. What a wonderful feeling.

Tomorrow morning I must start getting the info the man at the wonderful apt needs. I hope the lady who runs this place will have time to talk to me. If she'll just let me, I can photocopy the pertinent info out of my file here and take it to the man at the other complex.

I am trying not to get too excited, but it's too late.

The dumpster is at the end of the street. It will be good for me to walk that far every day. You go outside to get to the laundry area, but I have a little buggy I can use to push it back and forth. Being out in the air will be good for me, too. It's not polluted like here and no one will bother me.

I'll keep you posted. Don't forget me on this!
