Not strictly speaking to mental health but the overall health of the world. And I found when I could pay attention these lectures inspiring me and my playground in an otherwise, depression brain limited world.

www.theRSA.org

and example of a video is
http://www.thersa.org/events/video/v...arbara-strauch

The secret life of the grown up brain. The New York Times' health and science editor Barbara Strauch visits the RSA to reveal the latest research that shows that the middle-aged brain is more flexible, more capable and more surprisingly talented than previously thought.

http://www.thersa.org/events/video/v...ruce-alexander

Addictions what to do when everything else has failed. Renowned psychologist Bruce Alexander calls for a stronger recognition of the social nature of our worsening global addiction problem.

and 10 min animations based on longer lectures;

http://comment.rsablogs.org.uk/videos/ Fusing sociology, psychoanalysis and philosophy, Professor Renata Salecl shows that individual choice is rarely based on a simple rational decision with a predictable outcome.
( anxiety) Professor Renata Salecl explores the paralysing anxiety and dissatisfaction surrounding limitless choice. Does the freedom to be the architects of our own lives actually hinder rather than help us? Does our preoccupation with choosing and consuming actually obstruct social change?

Last but not least www.flylady.net for helping me organize my home/life and to keep me on a schedule.

For Self Injury - Bodies under Seige - it's one of the largest and oldest SI self help sites on the web. I'm biased about it, because I'm an administrator for it. www.buslist.org

For addictions recovery. It's a 12 step site but it's really good, run by Hazelden. www.sober24.com

Addiction recovery for Women. Women for Sobriety, it's a great recovery model for women and is an alternative to AA. I love it. www.womenforsobriety.org

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Canada's largest Psychiatric Hospital but it's web site has tons of information on drugs, psych disorders and a great tutorial on mental health and addictions. www.camh.net

not certain if this fits into your description, DocJohn

This site is for hoarders/squalor and most of the hoarding activity has followed a traumatic life event. Some have OCD.

The Psychotherapy Networkeer site is a big favorite of mine:
http://www.psychotherapynetworker.org

It is an online magazine with in depth articles on things like attachment, grief, connection, psychotherapy, and more. It is targeted at therapists but I find so much of general interest and not just skating on the surface (as do magazines like Psychology Today). There is a print version too but the whole thing seems available online whether you are a subscriber or not.
