Rhapsody, I'm sorry that I don't have any great advice for you. Just wanted to offer my support and welcome you to PC. I did do a search and this is the link to it: http://psychcentral.com/search/searc...s=PMDD&x=0&y=0

I'm pretty new too, and hope and pray that you will see the loving, supportive community that I did. Take care, good luck, we'll see you around.

hi there and welcome! Need Help & Support with PMDD

I suffer with PMDD, as well as my youngest daughter. I'm sorry that this is something you're dealing with as well. Ours worlds can be drastically altered, yes? Some months I'm not as bad as others. I'm 42 now, and over the years, I've learned that the physical symptoms will tell me how bad the emotional can be expected to get...not always though.

The people in my world, as well as my world itself, can be totally altered for the bad when I'm influenced with PMDD. I can't control it, and what's worse? People just about can't stand me, and it's so bad inside that I think I'm controlling things well. It's very difficult. I can say that the birth control pill helped my symptoms, and is now helping my daughter's symptoms. There was a period of time, though, that I had to use an antidepressant/anxiety meds to help.

I wish you well! PM any time for understanding...I've been on both ends...the one with PMDD and the one on the receiving end from daughter. Need Help & Support with PMDD

Welcome to PC Rhapsody! I'm sorry you need us, though sigh. There's a Health Support forum, but IMO you could post in any forum as your feelings change: depression, health etc. TC
