Does it ever seem like just when you are about to conquer one thing, here comes something else? Well, that's the way it's been for me the past few months and I'm really tired of it.

A lot of these "things" have been health related but a few have been relationship ups and downs. Whatever the problem is, I feel I don't recover from one before along comes one more thing to deal with.

I've always heard, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. Gee whiz, I should be strong as an ox. Yet, I feel like each battle leaves me a bit weaker physically and a bit less able to cope emotionally.

I know most of you are battling physical and emotional stuff and here's wishing none of us gets one more thing............

Sorry Ozzie I know that feeling..right now I am in a safe lull you know...before the NEXT storm...well OK my car battery may be bad but they will be dealt with tonight. It does seem like some of us have one thing ...I did have to lol on strong as an OX

when i had pneumonia, people would say "God never gives you more than you can handle"..........well, i got tired of hearing it and told my doc friend. he told me to say "well, i wish he didn't have so much faith in me"............it works.

Lexi, He's been much better the past week. He's actually brought me things while I have been sick.

One, I don't believe that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. grrrr
Two, my T says that is "life." I think it's because of depression that we feel it is piling up on us, and not giving us time to breathe inbetween events?
Three, you can get through this, you are strong. Plus, you have all of PC pulling for you to! TC

Ozzie, maybe it is just life and being depressed makes it worse but I am here to say that I am also tired of life piling the compost in my corner and every year for the past ten people send me birthday cards wishing a better year for me. Why is it some people just get a lot of unwanted fertilizer? Hope your body is feeling better.

Your wish was a good one... but it didn't work for me. Just heard my daughter and family are in town. My first grandchild is no longer a child. He's 13 and he's let his hair grow long... and I won't get to see him.

One of my younger grandsons is having a birthday this weekend and we haven't heard anything about a party. Now I know why. "She" is in town and everyone is defering to HER... not to mention the incubus. (Webster's says: incubus- 3 : one that oppresses or burdens like a nightmare

Go ahead! Crawl down my throat and tell me that I must be a lousy mother and MIL or I wouldn't be treated this way! I'm already thinking it myself.

Sky, I've also heard that "life isn't easy" and those of us who are going down the other side of the hill (lol) can attest to that.

I think a combination of depression and decreasing health cause many of us to feel overwhelmed with "life".
