I'm not sure what to say or how to help. Have you tried anything to calm yourself down? There are so many different kinds of techniques that you can do for anxiety. If you want ideas on how to calm yourself, just let me know.

I would recommended that you try to attach the feeling to an event from your past (childhood or adult) - for most of our anxiety is linked to an unresolved wounds from the past that is playing its self out in real life in order to help you HEAL from whatever it was that first cause you pain.

FEAR is our worst ENEMY if we let it in.... and when it leaves we see that we had nothing to fear but fear its self.

Dear MAZE -

Try reading this article and it will explain how our past can and will effect our present if we have unresolved issues / wounds that are still left un-dealt with.

Dear Maze4200,
Anxiety- is part of our Fight or Flight response. Our nervous system will react to a situation. So Anxiety is the Flight response-of "Gosh I've got to run away right now!"
An example of this would be, a rabbit in a field having just seen a fox! Great fear! So I must run.
The trouble is, with our nervous system, is that once you have that fear, the nervous system will carry on building on top of it.

Some tips to help-
Learn some relaxation
Constantly reasure yourself that there is nothing to fear by talking to yourself
Distractions- Do something that you enjoy to take your mind off whatever the fear is , ie - playing scrabble, crosswords, music.

I also suggest that you see your doctor. And look into some sort of talking therapy.

Good Luck!
