I am crying which is stupid. I was looking at a job website and I felt nervous. I wish I had a job. When I think of my boyfriend having a job. It makes me worse. I want to earn money. Could I work from home and online? I hate feeling like I won't EVER get a job. Even on the course which I do in January, I have to get a work placement and I doubt I'll ever get one. But she did tell me she will help me. Even the words... work or job triggers bad feelings for me. I'm crying right now. I am stupid and I am pathetic. I kinda worry every day because I'm worried my mum might shout at me but I do the washing up to make her happy. I am unemployed. I'm such a loser! I wouldn't dare to do something stupid. But... suicidal thoughts keep coming into my mind. Everyone else has a job. Not me. I wish this nightmare ended. A minute ago, I had a thought of overdosing on my medication which I have left. I like the feeling of this. I'm not so serious with doing something stupid but I just get thoughts. I wish someone could just take away this jealously, worrying pain. I'm sorry to be a pain but I am just want to vent. I'm so stupid. How can I get a work placement when I have no skills or some qualifications? I hope the woman can help me. Thanks for reading. I'm sorry to be a burden.

Wish I could be more of help, but I'm having a hard time getting a job myself. Have you heard of snagajob.com? You should make an account with them & they give you a list of job postings you can apply to.

It's ok...you have to be patient when it comes to finding a job. Sometimes it takes longer than you think & it's discouraging, but don't give up. Things will be ok...just calm down & breathe sweetie *hugstightly*

Are you kidding? NOBODY has a job! If I look at the job website for my old field where I last got fired almost 8 years ago, I am GUARANTEED nightmares for a week, I'm not kidding. THAT is nervous! That is pathetic. So - rule number one, you don't sui over money or a job. One place I worked, there was a place to buy lottery tickets, and the guys would walk over every Friday at lunch. I got into the habit to, until I realized I was thinking I could ONLY be happy if I won, and that the guys were all miserable on a daily basis. I figured out I was never going to win, and that I had better figure out how to be happy every day WITHOUT winning the lottery. YOU ARE HAPPYCHEEKS! and don't you forget it. We all see you growing and learning every day. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Your not a loser, and im sure there are so many things that you are good at! Its hard when you want to contribute to things, but life does not hand you a break! All you can do is keep trying, just remember there may be alot of No's but that is not a refection on you, its because of a number of other things, like the current economic climate.

And just rememeber there will be a Yes sometime, you just have to hang in tehre until it comes, Help you mum around the hosue like your doing, cook dinner etc. Voluteer as sometimes that helps to have it on your CV, or can lead to future job opportunites etc.

Dont give up!

Your not worthless, and your good at so many things so dont get discouraged, half the part of getting anywhere is being motivated which it seems like you are, the other part is having patiences for the right opportunity to come along, but this wont happen unless your taking action, which you are so your doing all the right things.

If you aren't planning on going to college, or even if you are....it's always a good idea to get some kind of sellable skill that can get you a job.....any of the computer skills is a good place to start.....other skills can be like dog grooming, or vet tech or any animal related skills is usually a good for getting a job.

When you get the training, then you don't feel so left out of the job market & can even in a bad economy find somewhere to work if you aren't really planning on going to college & studying for a career.

Even with my degree, I lost my career after 15 years & I know how down it made me feel....I won't even go into how badly it effected me because I had defined myself by my career instead of by what kind of person I really was. What a learning process that has been over the last 18 years....but we are never too old to learn new things about ourselves & get a better understanding of life.

No reason to give up at your age....you have your life ahead of you & plenty of time to figure out the direction you want to take it in.
