Alright, just a question. This is a phych site, for those of us with less than adequate mental state, self esteem, exc. exc. However, I still feel kinda trapped. This is probably cuz I'm relatively new, but I don't know how or where to find a place where I can find a shoulder to lean on. Not trying to complain, just asking for advice. Especially as of late, I've been a LOT more depressed than usual, and I've been thinking about "The 'S' word" a lot, because honestly, there's nothing else I'd love to do. But I know that's not a good subject here so just any support would suffice.
Also, I guess it just has to be said for my own sake, but I'm sorry for adding to the TONS of distressed people you guys probably have to deal with. Just wanted to say this so I feel less like a burdensome scum, like I do everywhere else. Thanks, love you guys. ![]()

![]() ![]() Sorry that you're feeling so low. I've been real low a few times, myself. I can relate to feeling that you need more of something, because what you're getting right now just isn't enough to fill that void inside of yourself. Have you tried contacting 1-800-SUICIDE to talk? Are you seeing a therapist or taking any medications? Those are options available to everyone. Although we may feel as though no one understands or cares about us, many people spend their lives waiting to help everyone who just needs a sympathetic ear. Or feedback. Or medication/s, sympathetic ear, and some feedback. Gentle hugs sent your way.

Is there something to do for yourself to find the light, to find the way? I don't know what is your life now and what you think it should be. Or how long you felt trapped.
I am an alternative chick here.... so I am gonna add to what others said... look for good omens. It is equally important as your biochemistry and whatnot.

You are not alone natani_girl.
I have also had severe depression. Three things that I have found help from are: meds, therapy and 12 step groups such as ACOA (http://www.adultchildren.org/) I waited a looooong time to try meds. Then it took a few months to find the right one, then it took a few months to finally kick in. But it has really helped with the darkest thoughts. Sending safe hugs and supportive thoughts your way. ![]()
