Ha! Your first non-Americanism! You've fooled me so far... I usually pick up on such things. I was a Linguistics major for a while, and I find the evolution of language to be really fascinating!

Well, greetings to you in SA and good night! No work done No work done No work done

My higher grade English teacher would have had my head on a block for that. (And I finished school somewhere around 16 or so years ago!

Thanks for this, it has made me so lighthearted and happy tonight!!

A familiar feeling. How did it go? Did you manage to get finished?
I'm really going to give my backlog a stab today.

Hey! Thanks.
Looks like it is going to rain and I must get off my big butt and walk to gym. Better buy that umbrella I've been meaning to.

lol...Yea that is the down side.

I always loved to walk in the rain along the beach. When ever it would start to rain I would head down to the beach and just walk enjoying the rain and nature.

The day ended up excellent in the productivity department. Whooo hoooo!!!!! No work done

Here are some recent numbers so you can get an idea of how it went.

1500 lines - that's the minimum I need to do daily, or else kick butt to make it up on another day. My contract demands at least 15,000 per pay period.

800 lines - what I managed to force myself to do on Monday over the course of 12 hours. I was actively typing for only 5 hours and 15 minutes of those 12. No work done

2000 lines - what I did Tuesday (today, the day I hit the wall) and it took only 90 minutes' typing time longer than the 800 day. I put in 6 hours and 50 minutes of actual typing time. The system doesn't log the time that you're getting the job ready to be typed, entering date and time and finding the patient's name if the doctor entered the medical record incorrectly.

Using the timer, CONSISTENTLY, really seems to be the key to keeping me on task. When I work in one hour chunks and see how productive I am, it pushes me to keep up the pace. I averaged 297 LINES AN HOUR No work done Holy cow!

Well done!!!!! Be proud of you.
I am back from the gym now (it didn't rain Brian) and I have loads to do, not only in backlog but current more urgent invoicing etc. If I don't do it, we don't eat - so there's my motivation if any!!

But first I must hang the laundry, do the dishes, feed the dogs, prepare my son's homeworks sheet for later ........... well - you know how it goes.

Well, then get crackin' woman. No work done

I completely understand the "if I don't do it, we don't eat" deal. That's for sure.

Invoicing done! Laundry hanging out to dry! Now to start on some capturing and filing.
Workout was great - thanks Brian - but I fluffed it by just eating a chocolate!

I was telling my husband when he got home that the current stuff is up to date etc etc. All of a sudden he gave me a long hug and kiss and quietly said thank you. I asked for what and he said, oh, just for my efforts. Grateful and guilty moment here. I assured him there was no effort on my part - just love. How lucky I am to be praised for my efforts when I haven't even really been trying that hard.

I feel very lucky and blessed about now.

BIG SMILE for Sabrina..... a moment to write down, try starting a GOOD Journal book for those times you do not wish to forget, instead of the BAD Journal book that most of us keep up to date..... I have one of each - I keep the good one with in reach, so I can read it as I need.
