Lady at Mortgage company was abusive

Not all debt collectors are bad!!! I suppose each person has an individual way of getting the point across, some are not so diplomatic as others. Before I was declared completely bloody bananas, I worked for a credit card company chasing peoples debts, it wasnt an easy job, but I feel that I have the tact and diplomacy that is needed for that sort of job, which isnt easy, I am sure TWISTED would back me up on that. It does however help if people contact you before you contact them and say that they are having problems. Anyway, I am fairly sure that no one would have a pop at anyone else here in psych because we all have a few things in common dont we?? If we cant offer honest opinions then what is the point in posting our feelings and comments in here for other peoples input, advice and support. Come on people, lets have a big huggles and realise that we are all here for each other. Huggles from a loony ex debt collector (to add insult to injury, I was also a real estate agent..... hahahaha)

I did not mean anything by my comment above. I was simple just saying that bill collectors cant get personally involved because if they did, no money would be collected. I used to be a medical bill collector. I know what it involves and I can see both sides. But I also know how it feels to get those calls and how violated and bad it really does make us feel.

((( TS ))) Thank you for the help and yes I think I am gonna stop that payment...cause I did not authorize her to use my account I told her straight up nice and all I will not authorize that I don't and won't have the money by then...SHE not all who do that kinda work was just a real snot and has no right to just use my checking account cause she has the numbers from past pmts and all..But yeah I do know she has to suggest stuff ...but really like I said in my opening posts...its HOW she said it and then the fact she just decided she was taking it out of my checking account..Mostly it was her mean-ness not a pro..like I said I have GMAC collectons being way nice and this was like nothing I have ever dealt with...Just like there are good cops and bad ones and good doctors and bad..she really was bad ...at least on that day

(((( Debbie ))) wow we do sound a lot alike I have a few creditors that have been way cool...then one so far that has been mega nasty.....I answer only when it's one I know and I will not talk to my house company again unless I tape it and tell them I am taping it ....this was a nightmare

((( Fuzzy Erin Bears ))) yeah this has been one heck of a year and she stressed me to the max its been a few days and that still has me all upset....not that shes doing her job...but how she did it and well.....I told her no don't use my account...cause I dont have it..and it may be a felony to write a bad check...she just didnt seem to care..Maybe late that night she was sorry so I dont wanna get her job but I would like to see her called on the carpet...Thanks

((((Sabrina....Wisewoman)))) thanks..I plan to stop the check cause no way will it clear...anyhow ..I dont wanna get her in trouble though ..I do wish I could talk to her again and nicely point out where she crossed the line and she did cause taking cash unauthoried even if I owe the debt is illegal....I know cause I called a free lawyer..well free to talk to

I got a little off balance there a bit.
I really am here if anyone has any questions about collectors calling them etc.
And, I take post dated checks by the phone everyday BUT not in my life would I give my checking info. to someone over the phone. If nothing else I would send in a check or series of checks so I personally wrote them out.

If there is a fee for STOP PAYMENT @ your bank then your other option is to just close your account and open a new one.

I saw someone suggested filing BKY...the laws changed last Oct. and it is difficult now to file as well as even a chp 7 you have to pay back.

Anyway, sorry for disrupting any thing on your post.

(((( OK...katheryn ))) THANK YOU BOTH...I know none of us have a lotta money and we are you and I katheryn close to no home and all....still I agree we have to take care of us within the law and being kind..I wasnt rude or lying to this ONE collector but she was to me.....I think its just added a LOT of stress and further complicated my emotional issues NOT THAT SHE DID HER JOB....but HOW SHE MISHANDLED HER Job...not all people are this bad but

((( JMO, Kimmy ))) thank you to both of you..yes she was abusive....I would not say that if she wasnt..she said I had a savings account yelling I had one..but I swear to God I don't... and I was all I think she saw my other checking account ...I dont know but ? and then to just take money well I cannot stress enough it was like being robbed and raped

((( EJ ))) THANKS..NO I didn't even agree by duress she just took it..I told her I would not authrorize it.... she didnt care..she just said I am putting it though on the 28th

THATS PART of the trauma she took without permission and took what I do not have

((( ts ))) YOURE COOL and not disrupting things I am just now catching up..... see she had my checking account numbers cause I have called a payments in even when I was not behind being income comes in 1 once a month and they let you pay by phone so sometimes to be on time..I have to call not mail as not to bounce...This really was a nightmare and no not all bill collectors are bad I again never said that but this lady..I dont know maybe shes stressed too or ? but WOW .....I never had someone flip out and do what she did..thanks for the help
