Sometimes I have mild to medium breakdowns (meltdowns)
![]() Definded as Meltdowns: some social screw-up ![]() peculiar laughing or strange behavior such as talking in mixed company about something better discussed only around girls, or just becoming very female and rasing my voice and crying and complaining in a public place where it is not really suitable. These I consider meltdowns or small breakdowns. ![]() How do you "reader" get yourself back out there? How soon do you resurface back out there? I especially have them once a week usually and just go right back out and ignore the comments of my social group because I do have self-esteem despite my not behaving quite nearer to more normal , out there. What do you do? I am brave and have lived with this for 30 years and really accept it and myself but realize that other people here probably struggle terribly with it and don't have the same way of dealing with mental illness flaws. But how do you do it? What are the goods the bads and the uglys of the behaviours that mental illness brings to the table? Do you find strength finally in accepting yourself as a mentally ill flawed human sometimes and still love yourself, and getting by? Or are you hiding behind doors, running to bathrooms, jumping in your car and roaring away from blerbs that we all make from time to time? All humans make messes some days, not just people on this site that are honest about mental illness, but everyone who is a human being has his good days, his mediocre days and great cloud nine days. No one is really immune to having feelings, except some sociopaths and even they are finding wellness through recovery orientated therapies. All people have a chance to live a better tomorrow, if WE give ourselves a FEW BREAKS !!! What do you think,?Do humans deserve to treat themselves understanding when they make blupers? Yes or no?? Have you been better to yourself or worse to yourself for mistakes made? Is there a way to keep it in check and be nicer. How does it get worse? What should people look out for as clues they are being too judgemental to themselves so that they might be able to stop this judgemental behavior that is ruiening them? Any ideas? ![]()
