i want your thoughts....

right, well i have decided to change my screen name, Simply_Simon is good, but i worry about people i know finding out im on this site and recognising my screen name, i use it everywhere i go so i want it to be something different.

i do worry that somebody i know will log onto this site and know its me and i have spoken about so much on here that i dont want others to know. i know it is extremely unlikely that someone i know will log on but for peace of mind id rather make myself abit more anonymous, obviously you guys will know who i am but for "outsiders" i want to remain anonymous.

i was having a think about my name, and i cant think of any good ones. then i read esthervirtues thread, where she is saying that usernames should be a reflection of our characters etc. so it gave me an idea. i thought i would come on and start a thread asking people if they have any suggestions on what my new name should be. im open to any ideas and i will pick my favourite, so has anyone got any ideas? i really cant think of any good ones, im abit rubbish with things like that.

but i do want to change my on-screen name. mainly for peace of mind for myself but i wouldlike one that reflects who i am.

Well the meaning of Simon is hearkening, obedient...so maybe you can take something you like, say like an animal, a favorite team and combine it with that.

What are your likes? Hobbies? I don't know you well enough to really come up with something. But I would start there.

You listed "Soul Searcher" as your occupation.

I would keep the "Simply" and change the name. Become something like, "Simply Stated" or "Simply Sensational." :-) That way people here who know you will still feel like they know you and are in on the "joke" of your changing your name but not completely. It will be a shared changed.

I think so far, of the mentioned, my first favourite would be "simply standing" and 2nd being "simply stated".
Another, I thought could be "simply here" ?
Or you can create a completely different theme,leaving out the "simply" or "simon" ?
Like someone mentioned, a favorite animal?
How about a time of year,colour, or something found in nature?

well i wanted the "Simply" to be dropped really, although there were some awesome suggestions.

if there are any names people can think of that doesnt necessarily include "Simply".

simply stated is good for you...your explantions are always so easy to follow...and you give great advice....Hey wait...how about easy to follow?

im still debating which name to use lol, i cant decide between "Simply_Standing" or i even like "Still_Standing", i like "Soul_Searching" too, i just dont know lol. out of the three which do you guys prefer, id rather use a name that you all like, it can a joint effort then.
