I've been so unhappy for most of my life, probably due to my OCD. Okay, mostly due to my OCD, and my suicidal and self destructive tendencies.

I just learned today that I might need to take a semester off from my last year in high school to get better. I might have to move from Canada to somewhere in America or the UK to find good care.

I think that news kind of made me question myself. Why do I make myself so unhappy? Why do I make my family unhappy with me? Why am I even here?

So from here on, no more bitter/negative/cynical posts. I'm moving on from my dark past. I want to change myself in order to change the people around me, for the better.

I like to give you a huge hug for trying to turn your life around. Its wonderful that you are acknowledging that things need to change. Im now 60 and wish I had of had the courage to do something about my problems when I was as young as you are. I know I wouldve had a much happier life for myself and for my family.Instead ive only recently sort help as I wouldnt acknowledge I had a problem. Part of my OCD is hoarding and my kids hated bringing friends home.So Honey I wish you all the very best and wish to say Im here for you should you ever need to chat with someone who understands. Gai
