I carn't cope everything is getting on top of me. I dont know what to do . I dont get any support from mental health. or from my husband. so I have no one else. what am I supposed to do. I carn't do anything right I'm always wrong. everything I try to do I fail at. I'm sick to death with struggling to live a somewhat normal existance. I just want to crawl under a rock and hide away from the world so I dont get hurt over and over again.but I carn't because my husband and other people always depend on me for everything . dont they realise that I'm not some kind of superwoman. I want to be able to help others but I carn't even help myself most of the time. my life is not my own. I want a life I want my own life back the way it was before my illness(whatever that is) according to mental health after 17 years of being treated for schizopherina they have decided to change my diagnosis to boarderline personality disorder/depression without even discussing it with me or any of my family. they told me that I no longer have a mental illness and they dont have to treat me or offer me any help. even though I still have the same symptoms as I did when I was first diagnosed. and I'm still on anti psycotic medications. WHO THE HELL HAS THE PROBLEM !!! what am I supposed to do. I carn't fight the system I've tried and it didn't help. sorry to go on like this but I have other way to vent my hurt and frustration.

Hi Ima: Because federal dollars go into State mental health systems, the system is required to give you some sort of review hearing if they deny you benefits, which they would be if they're saying that they aren't going to treat you anymore.

Try to call the 'Protection and Advocacy' agency in your State, (every State has one), to get more info./help with your rights regarding this situ.

Hope you will keep posting; it helps to know that you are not alone.

Best regards, Peanut

thanks for the advice but I live in Australia and I think things are alot different down here. I've tried to change things and get help. so has my doctor GP and my old psycologist and numerous other but to no avail. I have know way out of this crazy cycle. everyone is against me and doesnt want to help. they wont me to hurt myself or kill myself because they hate me and it would make there lives easier if I wasn't around.

((((Ima)))) so sorry you feel stuck in that system. The dynamics are the same here in the USA. The insurance company that (is supposed to-) pays for my disability needs would like nothing better than for me to die in a car accident or by my own hands...

Please come back often and post... it will help you while you KEEP SEARCHING for that special health care person who WILL HELP you! There IS someone out there for you... keep going, don't let them win... you deserve help, and you can find it... good wishes coming your way.

Ima,

Especially since you are still on the anti-psychotic, I wonder if what they are really saying is that your schizophrenia is now under control, but the problems coming up now are BPD and depression? They should discuss this with you and tell you what they mean, as well as give you treatment options. It sounds like you could probably benefit from treatment for the conditions you have, but maybe a different setting would be better. If you are not getting the answers and the support that you need in one place, then go to someone else instead.

You must be doing better than you think at a lot of things, or your husband wouldn't see you as somebody he can depend on. It's fine to tell him that you need support too, and that you have limits.

Sorry you are feeling so bad right now. It is frustrating when you aren't getting the help you need from people you should be able to count on.
