(sorry if this is in the wrong place..i didn't know where to post this.)

wtf i think i have serious anger problems or something..

like for example, the other day i was at my boyfriends house and i was laying on his bed talking to him then it was quiet and all of a sudden i got the sudden urge to stab myself in the leg with something, and i actually envisioned doing it..

then after that, at school one day, my best friend casie was sitting beside me in class. then all of a sudden i got this urge to take my fist and just punch her in the back really hard..and i actually envisioned myself doing it...wtf?

Well, first the "wtf" is not necessary.......seems like your sentences would work nicely without them. Second, have you considered anger management classes along with therapy?

Both might do you a world of good and help you understand the physical violence you think about.

Take care.

Have you considered talking to a mental health professional?
If you are presently seeing one, it would be a good idea to mention this, in fact, an important issue to discuss.
If you are referred to a pdoc, there are medications that can help you if need be. There are also anger managment courses for free or minimal fee at most of the local hospitals or outside county/city facilities.
Just my 2 cents.

Have several ideas, just do not want to cause any confusion to you, one, is possibilty, Bipolar disorder (I have Bipolar-II mild) what you described are some of the thousand different behavioural traits, more info can be found at this website on the "under disorders", and loads of info in books I put under suggested reading, in the Bipolar forum.
Other causes can come from substance abuse, hormonal imbalances, including thyroid (especially women), "good old" stress, Borderline Personality Disorder, just to name a few.
The best thing is to go for a physical and then follow with a mental health professional or vice versa, there are too many causes that can be attached to your described behaviour/symptoms. I would look into a mental health professional if I were dealing with what you described, and get to the source, reducing the stress of not knowing.
I DO have many ideas, but sometimes a person doesn't want to accept they may have a mental disorder, once one finally decides to accept there is a possiblity of one or several, then treatment can follow, and there are many helpful treatments, some may just be talk therapy and an attitude adjustment in adjunct.
I wish you luck with this and hope you seek help, you can always feel free to come here and chat with others at our various forums, or even check and see if anyone is on "chat", usually in the evening hours is when most visit "chat".
We can offer support but are not qualified to give out diagnosis, nor would anyone want to take the responsibilty in misguiding others, it is always best to get a professional opinion.
Take care,
DE

Planning, I do agree with your reply, and yes, "wtf" is not really necessary to get one's question across, nor is any sarcasm.
PlanningtoExist, the others, and I are hear to listen and support, but we can't make diagnosis, it is best to speak to a therapist about what you described here, Lost.

PS I personally do not feel anyone is a Lost cause, there is always hope, never give up hope, even if times get rough, hang on

Good for you, Hun!! um..wtf? I'm proud of you!

I love your little boy looking at the moon. Reminds me of the book "Goodnight, Moon!" um..wtf? (good night mittens, good night kittens, good night old woman... whatever. LOL) Haven't memorized it yet. um..wtf? After four grandkids, you'd think I'd know it frontwards and backwards. umf!

We checked out the cassette tape of Good night moon from the library before a trip once. My daughter insisted on listening to this 5 minute tape for 3 hours. She was two. I am no longer fond of that book. LOL.

I guess not, eh? LOL My granddaughter likes to hear the same book over and over again... seems her daddy did, too!

Hubby used to have to read the Bearenstein's B Book over and over, too. He STILL has it memoried some 32 years later! um..wtf?
