Help. I am trying not to freak out over this ipod nano.

It is stuck. I have no idea why or how. It is stuck on the Now Playing screen, but not doing anything. No sound, won't change songs, nothing. Won't let me get back to the main menu, won't shut off. It is frozen.

Do I have to let the juice run out?

I am trying not to have a meltdown. I got my hubby a notebook for Christmas and had to send it back for repair because a button was broken. Got it back and now am waiting for the recovery discs to come from HP because they neglected to reset it at the factory after they messed with it. It's been two weeks. ipod dilemma

I tried. It is just stuck no matter what. It's plugged in now and I've been trying to troubleshoot. It says "device working properly" ipod dilemma

Trick for next time....
Turn the "hold" off and then on again.
Then hold down the select and menu keys for about 10 seconds or so. That should reset it without losing the songs.
Sorry, I just saw this and wish I'd have seen it sooner.
My cousins nano did the same thing.

I think what happened is when I tried to hold select and menu, I was too far off to the side/click wheel. ipod dilemma
