I know the only way for me to push my fears away sometimes is to get into gratitude. So I'm gonna start it.....then lets hear what ya'll are grateful for today.

I'm grateful for:

My computer and PsychCentral, the only thing that keeps me grounded sometimes.

The birds chirping outside my window and cool breeze floating in my door.

My coffee pot, without it my day would never get started.

The dirty dishes in my sink because it means I've had food to cook.

My cat and his unconditional love.

The roof over my head.

My neurologist for helping me feel better.

My grandma for being who she is.

My friends here and in life who won't let me fall, no matter how hard I try.

And most of all, I'm grateful for my life today.

Hi,
I'm grateful for my great job. My healthy children. My brother and sisters and dad. My home, the food we have to eat, my dog. The money to be able to go to school at night. I'm eternally grateful to have found the right medication that cured my depression. I'm grateful to each of you here at PC who teach me and challenge me to become a better person. Thank you.

Okie

I am grateful for my husband

My dog, Amy - she brings a smile and laughter no matter how horrible I feel

My computer

I am grateful that I lost a little weight this week - and I am grateful that I tried really hard to make this happen!

I am grateful for my life! 2 years ago (almost to the day) I almost lost my life at my own hands and now I am just grateful to live and have another chance at finding peace and happiness.

"Gratitude is a positive emotion which involves a feeling of emotional indebtedness towards another person, often accompanied by a desire to thank them or reciprocate a favour.

. . .Research has also suggested that feelings of gratitude may be beneficial to subjective emotional well-being."

The bottom of my heart is leaning toward my T and my husband :-)

Good Thread!

I am grateful for my husband and daughter, my home, our car that runs, a few understanding friends IRL, being physically pain free at the moment, psych central and all who contribute, decaffeinated tea that I like (I had to give up caffeinated) and the delicious oatmeal muffins my husband makes just about every weekend!!!
