When you dream do you ever create paradise ?
What would it be like ?
Imagine you are there right now.
What do you see about you ?
What can you do in your paradise ?
Are there things you cannot do ?
How do others treat you in paradise ?

Septembermorn...

I dream of my paradise everytime my head touches that pillow at night. I use this paradise inside my mind as an escape, and i also use it to meditate.

This could be long this post of mine lol...here goes...

My paradise, or what i see...is a secluded island, a tropical one. not very big, but big enough. there is a small wood of trees off to my left, and i am sat on the pure white sandy beach leaning against a palm tree, in the shade. the sun is beating down and all i can hear is the gentle breeze through the trees and the waves lapping upon the shore. off to my right is a little beach, and my house sits overlooking the beach, pretruding over a small cliff. Its a nice big house. the part that overhangs the cliff has glass walls, facing out to the sea. this island in complete silence...except the sounds of the ocean and breeze. it has a little river leading to the sea, to the pure blue ocean...and it has a waterfall gently flowing from the cliff, a litle way off from where my home is. i have a dock on the opposite side of the island to me, and that is how i get to and from my island. i am alone on this island, except for my wife. In real life i am not married, i am single, but in this dream i am married to a wonderful, beautiful wife with whom i love dearly, and she loves me. she is pregnant in the dream. i always imagine myslef just sitting there looking out to sea, in complete zen with the world...not a worry in my mind. the warm air blows gently, and the waves gently carressing the white sand and rocks creates a special relaxing ambience. i also dream of this same island, but at sunset...with the sun slowly setting beyond the horizon, showering the island paradise with a gorgeous red and yellow light. my wife and i just sit there together, holding eachother...just completely free. nice.

thanks for that septembermorn...i needed to go there hehe...i use that when i meditate, it is my world as i see it...pure pefection.

Simon

p.s i told you it would be a long one! hehe

Simon, do you see the inside of your house?

My paradise is a place in the country. What a I see from the dirt road as I approach is a white picket fence with an arch over the gate. There are climbing roses growing on the arch. There's a flagstone walk leading to the steps of the house, some purple flowers growing wild on either side of the walk. I know there's flowers like that because I've seen them at the plant nursery but I can't recall the name. Anyway, the flowers grow in spikes, sort of like a tall triangle. The house is pretty much overgrown with plant life and there's a forest beyong the house with a stream flowing. I can see a small part of a large water wheel? LOL Maybe it generates the power to the house.

The most important attribute is a semi-round cement bench right inside the gate. Some of the branches from the rose bush are hanging over it, shading it and there's a man wearing Bible time robes sitting there. As I open the gate and walk in, I see that it's Jesus and He's patting a place next to Him asking me to sit next to Him. He extends out His arm to put it around me... When I sit and allow Him to pull me into Him is when my meditation starts.

Simon, thank you for telling us about your paradise. I just visited mine and let me tell you, I'm in dire need of some deep meditation! I just woke up from a nightmare where I had moved into a new apartment that was haunted! The evil spirits were really active!! Creating Paradise Scarey!!

I dont really see the inside of my house...the vision is always centred around the house. i have a seperate dream of my ideal house, and so that is what it would be. my ideal house is a big house, with a big extravagant kitchen considting of all the latest mod-cons, i see it being coloured black and white, with white shiny cupboards and black tops...next to the kitchen is a dining room that has a glass wall on one side...guess that could be one of the rooms facing sea-ward...the living room is a nice calming relaxing room...with reds and browns, earthly colours, a nice cosy area with a nice big entertainment centre. the house has a swimming pool indoors too, with an extra room with a hot-tub/jaccuzi...and there is another seperate room which is a music room, it has a grand piano in there...again i see this as a white room, pure white... with inspirational pictures on the walls. there is another room with a bar in it...for when there are parties. this room has a terrace attached, with tables and chairs, with a pool table waiting to be used. i could say so much more about the house, but it would be a ridiculously long post, so i better keep it focused on the downstairs of the house hehe...i imagine the house being clean, very modern, light and airy, with a calming, relaxing feel to each and every room. white and earth colours play a huge roll in the colour schemes, obviously not together, but in seperate rooms. i suppose it relates to heaven and earth - the natural elements of earth anyway, with a resemblance to heaven.

aww i have been on my island all day now lol...and now i have created the house part i will enjoy that too...hehe thanks septembermorn.

your dream paradise sounds wonderful...unlike your nightmare you just had...i tell you what, i am inviting you to my island for a holiday, bring who you want...the house is big hehe...come away to my island retreat and relax...what do you say...hehe
