I don't feel like going to work tomorrow!!!! Why do the weekends always go so fast? I have to wake up EARLY-at 6am and I don't feel like going to sleep but I have to because if I don't then I'll be really tired.
I don't want to goooooo to work!!! I want to stay hoooome!!!!

I feel like complaining. I feel like complaining. I feel like complaining.

I feel like a little kid who's rebelling about having to go to bed.
Okay, I'll go to bed...soon.
Thanks for letting me complain.
I'm finished now.

Hey, Pickle...I'm doing the same and feeling the same!
Alarm goes off at 6 a.m...I hit the snooze many times...then rush around to get ready, drive to meet the day with rowdy middle schoolers!
You are not alone!
Love

The work day is so uncivilized. Why can't we work from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.??? Or 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.?????????

I feel like complaining. too, Fuzzybear! You're soooo nice to me. I feel like complaining.
I did finally go to sleep at about 1am but then I woke up at 4am to pee and I couldn't get back to sleep again until 5:30 am. I must be getting use to not sleep because I've hardly felt the effects of only getting 3 1/2 hours of sleep today.
I feel like complaining. Thanks for offering to read me stories, Fuzz and Jinnyann. I feel like complaining. That would be great! I feel like complaining.

Hi Pickle,

I can totally relate to that.

I spend many work-nights staring at the ceiling, and getting increasingly worked up every time I glance at the advancing clock. It totally sucks. But when I stay home, I make it worse, because 1. I sleep until some ungodly hour and screw up my schedule more. 2. I leave a backlog of stuff that needs to get done at work, making me even LESS inclined to go to work... and 3. I feel really guilty for being out of work, and that makes me want to hide and not go back just to avoid negative responses for my absence. Not to mention that if I'm at home for any prolonged period of time, I get even MORE depressed.

It's a hideous cycle. And it's a thing that happens with Depression. My solution? Hit snooze until the very last possible moment. Be at work even though it sucks, and i'm dizzy from fatigue, and then go home and crash early.

It's a battle people like you and me have to struggle with every day; that's why I'm so jealous of those jerks that can just hop out of bed and face the day with a smile; in fact, I want to boot them in the butt for it. I feel like complaining.

But when I read your post, I totally understood what you meant. I hope you sleep better tonight.

I feel like complaining.

Okay, okay, okay. The things you wrote about the consequences of not going to work got to me. Although, it's not the same situation with me 'cause I don't work in an office but I got to feeling like maybe I need to rethink things and not call out from work? I don't know now. I'm confused. I feel like complaining. I'll see how I feel in another hour. I still haven't called out yet. I can still change my mind.

I work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and it's no picnic being up and coherent at that hour -- but in a month we switch to 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and that'll suck too. I like having my whole afternoon and evening to myself.

Face it, the only solution is to be independently wealthy. I feel like complaining.
