I feel very very strongly for ethical treatment for all.

I have endured an experience in my own life that has scarred me. I am trying to help al those who can not help themselves.

I am placing a link here. It is a movie based on real life events of teen rehabs that abuse children.

Please use caution when clicking the link. It is very disturbing.

The story is based on true events. The writer of the film is the one who was placed there. His sister also.

Awareness is knowledge. Please help.

All I can say is Oh Wow. I mean sure we hear things that are disturbing all the time; people dying for what they believe, who they are etc, being tortured and what not. Although the trailer itself was extremely distrubing and horrifying really; I felt like I had to watch it and couldn't just shut the window as if it would be some horrrible injustice. I am one of the lucky few who can say yea I had a messed up childhood and not much of a real childhood sometimes. And I'm grateful that I had my twin sister with me as much as I did (she did not die just decided to move back with our mom). I can't even think right now; but, not just cause of the clip but because I've been dealing with other issues psychiatrically with meds. If it is appropriate it was good or rather well-done; but, again very graphic. These are the movies we should be watching not crap like superbad like someone else pointed out. We need to see to it to protect eachother; because if we dont step up or in, who will and where will it begin?
Thanks JMO531
Hugs, Danielle

Danielle,

You are exactly the type of person that I was trying to reach. People who view this and read into the history of Straight Inc, Kids helping Kids, Pillars of Hope and many, many more to name, can get a true understanding of the abuse and torture that I, myself had to face and these innocent children face every single day of their life. There is no escape. They break you down in every aspect.

It hurts to talk about it because I get so worked up. Angry mostly. I feel powerless. All I know to do is to spread the word. I do that as much as possible, and as often as I can. I also will be attending this years vigil being held at the old location of Straight in N. VA. They say building is abandoned now. But the memories will never leave.

I thank you for reading this, watching the trailer of the movie. One more person who knows the truth will only help this cause.

Huggles,

Jen
