Okay so I notice that a lot of the time I am around my bf or alone I enjoy acting like a house pet. I love being held, being baby talked to, I love to be petted, I love belly rubs, I love all that weird stuff.

I am very very submissive and I like having someone tell me what to do, I'm not very good at making choices , I hate it.... ;c

Anyways I love doing all this and when I am being payed attention to in the manner I like I obsess and think about it constantly, I yearn to be cared for petted and anything that has to do with attention.. I get so depressed and neglected feeling when I don't get treated the way I like and I also have the tendency to make puppy and other weird animal noises I find cute.. I duno.... This is so embarrassing lol...

So what the heck is wrong with me???? @___@;

Silly--laughing. I guess you're not "comfortably numb" anymore?

Well, I like to meow at my dog, and start hissing at her from time to time..

You are not alone--pet pet, sctratchies under your chin--I send you hugs
Thanks for this!

I'm just an outsider looking in, and have no way of truly diagnosing you, however, having quirky habits such as making animal sounds is completely normal. People are unique in their own ways and you found yours by being cute . The passiveness and lack of proper decision-making could be either an inferiority complex if it's that extreme or you suffer from a habitual lack of expectations and motivation. If people have put you down over the years and told you that you couldn't do anything, you have to break out of that mentality. There is also another possibility that you were just like that since birth, and it is just the way you are, and there is nothing wrong with that either. But if you, and personally just YOU and no-one else, think that it is a problem, then there probably is.
Thanks for this!

theres nothing wrong with you. A lot of people have different kinds of hobbies/fetishes. Some people have a thing for shoes, stamps, coins, music, wanting to look and be like celebraties, some people are into having submissive type realtionships such as BDSM, Father/daughter type, animalistic types theres all kinds of hobbies and fetishes.

My belief is everyone has their one thing that they cherish and identify with and thats completely normal.
Thanks for this!

(((TheBakery))) Im a leader at work and a follower as soon as I hit the parking lot. Afraid to make the wrong decision, afraid to speak up, break the rules. I hate it too... We just have to nudge ourselves gently so that we dont get out of the habit of making decisions for ourselves. Make little decisions every now and then to stay in practice. There is nothing wrong with you being submissive to your bf as long as he is gentle, kind, has a good head on his shoulders, and your best interest in mind. As far as the animal noises you make...I actually speak verbally for all of my animals, and in different accents. Its pretty funny. I crack my sister and myself up all the time. More importantly it brings us joy, no matter how strange others may see it. If it makes you happy, then purr away my friend. Doesnt make you weird at all.
Thanks for this!

Well I do lack motivation and I often lack expectations too.. and ever since 1st grade I have been put down by teachers and students too and have been extremely bullied, it could of been that too..

I don't mind breaking rules or speaking out I guess I'm only like this with people I am very close to, I am the opposite with those I don't know ;o

Yes my bf is very nice I am submissive to him all the time x3.

Awe ! sometimes I talk to my doggie like hes talking british xD But yea acting the way I do usually brings me joy, sometimes my bf gets annoyed and says I am acting too childish all the time, so I learned to hold back alot lol except cuddle time, I am allowed to act how I please then :3 or when we are alone

Hmmm...boy, I have an idea for you! Use it and make it a positive. You ready. Shut down your fear and go and write what you wrote on a shirt! Then wear it when you are around men. This is a bold idea but you might have a man who likes to do those things met. I think I will make one for myself. What do you think?

I also like to pull out sweet 'animal-ish' tendencies on my boyfriend - especially when we're cuddling and being sweet to each other. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with this, in and of itself, and he's pulled the 'hyper puppy' routine on me before as well. I also view having a need to do it now and then as being just as normal as wanting to cuddle regularly. We all need love and affection.

What I do think might be a bit worrisome is if you were literally like this all the time, to the extent where it inhibited a lot of normal social interaction. There is a time and a place for everything, after all. And if it comes out to a degree that is a bit much for him, you might want to moderate the habit a bit, but I don't see that as a reason to give it up entirely. Compromise and all that. Your needs matter too.

Oh, I am also a real animal-lover (in the normal way, lol) and enjoyed 'playing pets' as a kid. I was very close to my kitty too. She was my only source of comfort when things went bad, and I really admired her. I have certain other animal-like tendencies, but these aren't as strong as they used to be, and may be a bit less normal than what you're describing here. The two are fairly unrelated though.

I think it's normal. I am a cat. At some friends I meow instead of saying hi and I like to sit in cat like poses.

I am animal lover and I have a cat... we often spend a long time "conversating" (meowing at each other). I though I was the only one who does it... than I found my neighbor does it too.

hey your not alone i personally act like a dog but i act like a walking talking pet. I always love sticking my head out the window when we go for a car ride and i drool occasionally(especially around food). I even love wearing dog collars. There is nothing wrong with you it's just a little personality from your spirit animal. hope this helped :3

dont worry your not alone. You might of been a house pet in your past life because most people have a little bit of a trait from their past life. I personally like walking around town, sticking my head out the window, drooling(dont enjoy it), sometimes even howl or bark, and wear dog collars. My parents took me to a therapist because they thought i was mentally unstable and the therapist said i'm fine. Hope i answered your question.
